GROWING MRO BUSINESS IN THE INDO-ASIA-PACIFIC

REGIONCurrently there is an acute shortage ofqualified LAME’s and AME’s in theIndo/Asia/Pacific aviation industry. Thereis little likelihood of that situationimproving any time soon. This issue will significantly andadversely impact on the region’s aviationoperators within the very near future.

This Conference, featuring top-flightMRO experts from Australia and aroundthe region, will examine in depth currentMRO developments, equipage, training, regulatory obligations and impacts, andopportunities for more general MROtrans-border tasking. There will be nocharge (FOC) for attendance andparticipation at this Conference. TAAAF is the umbrella organisation providing a forum for all of Australia’s aviation industry associations to meet regularly on an informalbasis to identify and discuss common issues of an operational and regulatory nature.

Almost every significant aviation-related association is a member and TAAAF functions on a non-partisan, apolitical basis to advance andpromote all Australian aviation interests without in any way impinging on their sectorial independence. It is not the role of TAAAF toadvance in the public domain any issues of contention, unless all members are in unanimous agreement that the interests of the industrywould be best served by a formal over-arching statement.

This is the third time a General Assembly has been convened and individual members of all TAAAF member associations are invited toattend. No pre-registration is necessary. TAAAF looks forward to welcoming its broader membership base.

The Assembly will be Chaired by Mr Greg Russell. Email: [email protected]
