The Christian Conference Trust has been serving groups for over 100 years and we’re always committed to ensuring you have a safe and enjoyable stay.

To make sure that everyone can continue to ‘conference with confidence’ we’ve made some important changes which we wanted to share with you, as we adapt to new ways of conferencing during the current Coronavirus situation.

We ask all guests to be mindful of the following points:

RESPECT PERSONAL SPACEPlease observe the recommended distancing throughout your stay.

WEAR A FACE COVERINGPlease wear a face covering when moving around the centre.*

KEEP HANDS CLEANWash your hands regularly and use the sanitising gel provided.

TELL US IF YOU FEEL UNWELLReturn to your room and contact a duty manager straightaway if you feel unwell.

TAKEN CARE OF, FROM THE MOMENT YOU ARRIVEYour group will be allocated a check-in period, this will allow for reception to be sanitised before the next group arrives. For exclusive use groups, we will work with you to allocate multiple check-in areas, to ensure there is safe space for everyone.

For the safety of all our guests, on arrival you will be temperature checked with a simple non-contact thermometer. We will have a supply of personal protective equipment (PPE) for each guest, should you wish to wear gloves or a mask.

HIGHLY TRAINED STAFF

All our staff will be thoroughly trained to be able to serve you in a safe and welcoming environment. They will be equipped with personal protective equipment (PPE) and will follow strict guidelines for cleanliness. They will have their temperature checked before each shift and will be briefed daily on any changes to guidelines.

CONSTANT CLEANING

In preparation for your arrival, our centres will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitised. We will increase our staff to guest ratio, to ensure we can provide constant cleaning throughout your stay.

We’ll sanitise public areas regularly, using suitable cleaning products and antibacterial cleaners. Close attention will be paid to high-contact surfaces such as door handles and tables. There will be increased cleaning of public toilets at regular intervals.

All room cards or keys will be sanitised, we’ll issue disposable lanyards, and provide a new biodegradable bag in each room for towel disposal. After bedrooms are cleaned to government guidelines, rooms are sealed at the door with tape to guarantee your room is ready for you. We’ve removed some non-essential items from bedrooms, to reduce contact surfaces. Should you need pens, paper, extra pillows or a blanket, we will be happy to provide them – simply contact reception.

SPACE FOR ALLOur conference centres are large and benefit from lots of space, both indoors and outside. We can ensure that there will be plenty of space to observe the required social distancing, without impacting your event.

Where needed, we will allocate you larger meeting rooms. We will reconfigure meeting rooms, coffee points, lounges and dining rooms to fully comply with social distancing guidelines.

Please ensure lifts are only used individually or as a family group.

GREAT FOOD, SERVED IN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT

GO CONTACTLESS

Please make use of contactless card payments for items purchased from our bar or gift shop. The contactless limit has been upped to £45.00.

Should payment be over the contactless limit, we will ensure that traditional chip-and-pin equipment is sanitised after every use.

We will still be serving delicious meals, but we’ll be making a few small changes to the dining room. There will be no self-service, staff will plate up your choice of meal behind a Perspex screen. Lunches, salads and desserts will be pre-packaged.

Dining rooms will have appropriately spaced seating, and our bar areas will have increased space both at the bar and in the seating areas, so you can relax comfortably and safely.

We have been accredited by the AA as being Covid Confident.

This means that we have passed the AA’s stringent criteria and have in place the necessary risk assessment, safety measures and staff training to reopen safely, in line with the UK's respective government guidelines as well as UKHospitality and respective trade association guidelines, as they are published.
