Conference Venue
Located directly at the main artery of Sharm El-Sheikh, the Congress Center is 15 minutes from the city center NaamaBay and 5 minutes from the airport. Maritim Jolie Ville International Congress Center provides easy access to any location in Sharm El-Sheikh.
Registration & Identification Badges• Participants are advised to pre-register online using the following link
www.icao.int/mid• On the opening day of the event at 8:00 AM badges will be available for participants.• Participants are requested to present any ID in order to receive their badges. • Participants are also requested to wear the identification badge, all the time while in
the event.
Conference Hours• The event should start at 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM• Launch break will be from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM
Language & Schedule• The Event will involve participants from Africa and the Arab world
and the provision of interpretation services (English/Arabic / French and vice-versa) will be available.

Transportation & Help DeskCairo
• Passenger service agents will be located at domestic transfer desk at arrival halls at Cairo International Airport (Terminal 1/2/3) for smooth transfer of passenger and luggage to final destination at Sharm El-Sheikh.
• If the passenger is staying more than 6hours he/she may contact the help desk located at the arrival hall for assistance.

• Also, a help desk will be located at the arrival hall at Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport guiding participants to the free hotel shuttle buses (designated hotels only), same services will be provided during departure phase.

Taxis : Taxis in Sharm El- Sheikh operate on fixed rates. It’s always better for tourists to pre-book a taxi. The airport limo is the best mode to reach the airport conveniently on a pre-decided rate.Buses : The cheapest mode of transport in the city, buses are easily available and hail able. A tourist just needs to raise their hand when they see a bus on the road.Mini-buses : Tourists in large groups with plans to see multiple attractions with a short time frame must hire a minibus. It can work out to be cheaper than a normal bus.
Useful Travel Information• Passports : All foreign nationals entering Egypt must possess
valid passports or other valid documents for travel.
• Customs: The following items may be brought into Egypt duty free:
- 200 cigarettes or 250 gr. of cigars or tobacco.- 1 liter alcoholic beverages.- Perfume for personal use.
• Currency: The unit of currency in Egypt is the Egyptian Pound (L.E.), which in denominations of 200,100, 50, 20, 10, 5 and 1 (L.E.), 1 pound comprises 100 piasters, and for the exchange rates please visit (http://www.cbe.org.eg/).
• Banking Services: All commercial banks exchange major foreign currencies and are open from 08:30 to 14:00 hours, Sundays through Thursdays.
• Credit Cards: International Credit Cards, such as American Express, Diners Club, Visa, Master Charge, Carte Blanche, etc. are usually accepted at most hotels, department stores and restaurants.

Ethiopia - Gabon - Senegal - Sudan -Cameron - and Congo - Niger - Angola -Uganda - Benin - Burkina Faso - Burundi - Chad - Togo - Gambia - South Sudan -Central African Republic - Democratic Republic of Congo - Rwanda - Sierra Leone - Ghana - Guinea - Guinea-Bissau - Equatorial Guinea - Cote d'Ivoire -Kenya - Liberia - Mali - Mauritania - Nigeria must ensure they take along travel health insurance including a valid vaccination certificate for yellow fever for the duration of their stay in Egypt.
In addition, participants coming from Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea should have valid vaccination certificate for Poliomyelitis and should receive booster dose before arrival to Egypt.
