This is a consecutive 9th

Independence Cup Championship which was started in

the year 2005. Every time with big number of participation by different state

Karate players as well as Police and Para Military Forces, the Independence Cup

was a super hit event.

RULES & REGULATIONS/DETAILS OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP

• The championship will be conducted as per new WKF Rules.

• Entry Fees INR 3500.00 only per player/official will be charged from each participant (Including of

Triple sharing A/C Hotel Accommodation from 15th to 19th of August, 2013, Breakfast/Lunch &

Dinner on 16th, 17th & 18th

of August, 2013, Participation in one event Kumite or Kata). INR 500 will

be charged extra for next event.

• Entry Fees INR 3000.00 only per player/official will be charged from each participant (Including of

Triple sharing Non A/C Hotel Accommodation from 15th to 19th of August, 2013, Breakfast/Lunch &

Dinner on 16th, 17th & 18th

of August, 2013, Participation in one event Kumite or Kata). INR 500 will

be charged extra for next event.

• Entry Fees INR 1000.00 only per player per event will be charged from each participant without

lodging & boarding.

• Each event will have 1 Gold, 1 Silver & 2 Bronze Medals; the matches will be on knock out basis.

• Winners will be awarded with beautiful Medals & Certificates.

• All participants/officials/R/J will be awarded with beautiful Certificates & Momentous.

• Organizing Committee has the right to accept or refuse the entry of any team or individual without

explaining any reasons.

• Organizing Committee has the right to alter/cancel/merged any event in case of insufficient entries.

• Organizing Committee/Player/Official or any individual will not be held responsible in case of any

injury during the course of championship although the best possible First Aid will be provided.

• No protest will be entertained in regard with the decision of Referees/Judges.

• Players must wear approved protective guards.

1. COMPETITION DATE & VENUE

The 9th

All India Independence Cup Karate Championship will be held at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New

Delhi from 16th to 18th of August, 2013.

Talkatora Indoor Stadium is an AC indoor stadium located in New Delhi, India. The stadium is owned by

the New Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC). The stadium will have one competition ring and four

warm-up areas. The boxing events for the Commonwealth Games in 2010 will be held in this stadium.

This stadium can accommodate more than 3,000 spectators, and equipped with referee rest rooms,

athletes changing rooms, VIP Lounge and meeting rooms.

The updated New WKF rules will be applied in the championships.

Furthermore, I exempt from any legal, civil or criminal responsibilities the organizers of the Championships, the Shito Ryu

Seiko Kai Karate Do India , its members/office bearers, its directors, as well as any person, company, or entity related to

the event (sponsors, public and private entities).
