Accuracy is necessary so that the registration and use of the Safety Evaluation Tool takes places without any legal difficulties. Therefore, please fill out the form accurately and take note of the related explanations. We would also ask you to fill out the questionnaire. The completion of the questionnaire in full is a prerequisite for your registration and the use of the Safety Evaluation Tool. By completing the questionnaire you are declaring that we can save and use the person-related data obtained within the context of the questionnaire as well as the project and product data that you entered for marketing and advertising purposes. If you have filled out all the required fields and completed the questionnaire, and accepted these Conditions of Use and Data Protection by clicking the corresponding button, please then also click the button at the end of the registration application. By doing so, you are applying for registration and declaring in a legally binding manner for your company its acceptance of the registration conditions and the terms of use. Of course, you must have the corresponding authority for this. In order for you, your company and other users to register, it is necessary to store and process personal data. You should therefore only register those people as users who also expressly agree to the storage and processing of their personal data. Of course, we will comply with the requirements of data protection laws. By sending off this completed application for registration you are accepting in a legally binding manner for your company these Conditions of Use and Data Protection. If you are not in agreement with such, please contact your Siemens partner. We reserve the right to refuse registration or to limit such at any time or to erase such. The TÜV-certified Safety Evaluation Tool is made available to you at no charge. With the exception of intentional or grossly negligent behavior, or the fraudulent concealment of faults, we therefore exclude any liability for this report. This is especially true for the correctness of the contents, accuracy, completeness and usability. The use of the Safety Evaluation Tool is voluntary and at one's own risk. Insofar as Siemens provides any technical support when generating the report, such is undertaken on a voluntary basis and without any acknowledgement of any legal duty. With the exception of personal injury, the liability of Siemens and its vicarious agents is solely limited to cases of intent and gross negligence and to the extent of foreseeable and typical damage.

It is especially important to note that SIEMENS does not accept any legal duty to maintain safety on your behalf.

Data Protection Conditions

The protection of privacy and your personal data is an important matter for us. The following information is intended to inform you about which personal data and information we collect and how we treat that information. Personal data is collected, processed and used only with your knowledge. With the acceptance of these data protection conditions, you are agreeing to us collecting, processing and using your data as described below for the purposes set out below to the extent that such is not covered by law. You have the right to withdraw your agreement at any time with effect for the future or request information saved about you. In the first instance we collect, store, process and use the personal data obtained from you through your registration and the use of the Safety Evaluation Tool (number of sessions and period of use of Safety Evaluation Tool) for the operation of the Safety Evaluation Tool. The same applies to any personal data which we receive from you from the completion of the questionnaire and the use of the Safety Evaluation Tool (project data). If you provide us with any personal data (e.g. name, address, telephone number or email) with your agreement, we will collect, store, process and generally use this in order to be able to better respond to your wishes, and to improve our products and services, to be able to deal with your queries, to be able to process any requests or to be able to give you access to special information or offers. Further, we especially want to inform you about safety-relevant changes to our products. In addition, we use your personal data for commercial and marketing purposes as well as for market and opinion research. In particular, we will use this data in order to inform you as to offers from Siemens or to carry out surveys which we will allow us to better respond to your requirements. We would advise you that for the above purposes we will also make your personal data available to our German and foreign affiliates so that it can be stored, processed and used for the above purposes by these companies, and further that we will also make this data available in countries beyond the area of application of Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and the Council of 24 October 1995 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (EC No. L 281 page 31). In particular, we will provide personal data obtained in terms of the registration, the completion of the questionnaire and the use of the Safety Evaluation Tool, as well as in the project data, to promoters in our independent foreign regional companies for commercial and marketing purposes as well as for market and opinion research. Of course, we will respect your request if you do not wish your personal data to be made available for the above named purposes. This right to object is available to you with effect for the future at any time. We shall not sell or otherwise market your data to any third parties. We would advise you that we will continue to use the personal data received from you after your deregistration for the above named commercial and marketing purposes as well as for market and opinion research, and to this end will also transfer such to our German and foreign affiliates.

Of course, we will also respect your wish that your personal data is not used for these purposes after your deregistration. This right to object is available to you with effect for the future at any time.
