Practice activity

• As a class, use the shared writing technique to generate words and ideas about an apple to create a concrete poem.

• Fill in the class’ graphic organizer on the poster board as each idea is mentioned by the students.

ASSESSMENT

• A graphic organizer will be given to each student.

• The students will pull a strip of paper out of a bag that contains a topic.

• The students will be asked to generate ideas and complete their graphic organizer based on the topic chosen.
