Do you know who is a conformist? It’s a person who agrees with everything. At
present it’s important to be able to disagree. Today we’ll try to do that. We’ll look at London from some other side.
![Page 6: Concrete poetry lesson](https://reader038.fdocuments.in/reader038/viewer/2022102813/54665d04af7959c1628b545d/html5/thumbnails/6.jpg)
Now let’s make a bubble-scheme with positive and negative features of London.
Look at the example here. Try to find logical counter-arguments.
I created my own poem about London. Let’s read it.

London
![Page 7: Concrete poetry lesson](https://reader038.fdocuments.in/reader038/viewer/2022102813/54665d04af7959c1628b545d/html5/thumbnails/7.jpg)
London is a huge city
![Page 8: Concrete poetry lesson](https://reader038.fdocuments.in/reader038/viewer/2022102813/54665d04af7959c1628b545d/html5/thumbnails/8.jpg)
But it’s not the biggest in the world.
![Page 9: Concrete poetry lesson](https://reader038.fdocuments.in/reader038/viewer/2022102813/54665d04af7959c1628b545d/html5/thumbnails/9.jpg)
A lot of people admire it
![Page 10: Concrete poetry lesson](https://reader038.fdocuments.in/reader038/viewer/2022102813/54665d04af7959c1628b545d/html5/thumbnails/10.jpg)
But not everybody wants to live there.
![Page 11: Concrete poetry lesson](https://reader038.fdocuments.in/reader038/viewer/2022102813/54665d04af7959c1628b545d/html5/thumbnails/11.jpg)
It is visited by millions of tourists
![Page 12: Concrete poetry lesson](https://reader038.fdocuments.in/reader038/viewer/2022102813/54665d04af7959c1628b545d/html5/thumbnails/12.jpg)
But some of us can’t afford that
![Page 13: Concrete poetry lesson](https://reader038.fdocuments.in/reader038/viewer/2022102813/54665d04af7959c1628b545d/html5/thumbnails/13.jpg)
You can see many interesting places there
![Page 14: Concrete poetry lesson](https://reader038.fdocuments.in/reader038/viewer/2022102813/54665d04af7959c1628b545d/html5/thumbnails/14.jpg)
But you won’t have time to see them all !
![Page 15: Concrete poetry lesson](https://reader038.fdocuments.in/reader038/viewer/2022102813/54665d04af7959c1628b545d/html5/thumbnails/15.jpg)
London But ... … But … … But … You can … But you won’t …
![Page 16: Concrete poetry lesson](https://reader038.fdocuments.in/reader038/viewer/2022102813/54665d04af7959c1628b545d/html5/thumbnails/16.jpg)
Try to find negative points in the things I am mentioning.
Continue my thought starting with the word ‘But..’
Listen to my example: Perm is a beautiful city. But it’s very dirty.
![Page 17: Concrete poetry lesson](https://reader038.fdocuments.in/reader038/viewer/2022102813/54665d04af7959c1628b545d/html5/thumbnails/17.jpg)
Now it’s your turn to continue my thoughts:
There are many interesting subjects at school. But…
(they are difficult, there are too many)
![Page 18: Concrete poetry lesson](https://reader038.fdocuments.in/reader038/viewer/2022102813/54665d04af7959c1628b545d/html5/thumbnails/18.jpg)
It’s sunny. But…
(it’s cold)
I like summer. But…
(I don’t like heat, I hate insects)
![Page 19: Concrete poetry lesson](https://reader038.fdocuments.in/reader038/viewer/2022102813/54665d04af7959c1628b545d/html5/thumbnails/19.jpg)
I want to visit Paris. But..
(I don’t have money, my parents don’t want that)
![Page 20: Concrete poetry lesson](https://reader038.fdocuments.in/reader038/viewer/2022102813/54665d04af7959c1628b545d/html5/thumbnails/20.jpg)
Now write a poem in pairs.Think of possible advantages and disadvantages
connected with London. There is the bubble-scheme to help you.
Be ready to present your poem in the form of an argument.St 1 – likes London,St 2 – disagrees with him/her
![Page 21: Concrete poetry lesson](https://reader038.fdocuments.in/reader038/viewer/2022102813/54665d04af7959c1628b545d/html5/thumbnails/21.jpg)
London ……
But ……
![Page 22: Concrete poetry lesson](https://reader038.fdocuments.in/reader038/viewer/2022102813/54665d04af7959c1628b545d/html5/thumbnails/22.jpg)
Now answer some question in order to assess your work during the lesson.
Do the reflexion.
Hope today`s lesson was interesting and useful for you.

There are a lot of interesting places
You can walk the whole day there
It’s rather noisy
