Industry pracce is to plan and execute grading operaons so that the final soil elevaon is at the theorecal boom of the slab on ground immediately before commencing concreteoperaons. Sub-base has three main purpose:

1. It’s a working plaorm for construcon acvity.2. It provides level formaon for the construcon of concrete floor slab.3. It transmits the load from concrete slab to the sub grade.

Benefits of 3D Report:

Review level sheet in seconds.

Review slab thickness consistency instently

Average thickness of slab can be calculated more accurately.

Increase working speed.

Free Movement Measurement

1. TR 34 FM Floor Classificaons (FM1, FM2, FM3, FM4)

2. ASTM-E1155 (FF/FL Number System

Industrial floors should have an appropriate flatness in order to provide a suitable surfacefor the operaon of material handling equipment and appropriate levelness to ensure thatthe building as a whole, with all its stac & mobile equipments (e.g. mobile parons, racks, shelving, etc.) can funcon sasfactorily.

NOTE: F-Number system and TR34 rely on the same basic properes of flatness and levelness. However, methodology of measurement is different. Hence, specificaons should be selected by flooring expert aer reviewing customer requirements.

Defined Movement Measurements

1. TR 34 DM Floor Classificaons (DM1, DM2, DM3)

2. ACI - Fmin System (Longitudinal & Transverse-Fmins)

Defined movement floors are commonly constructed in

warehouses with very narrow aisles VNAs, where vehicle

paths are restrained by rail or wire guidance system.

NOTE: Survey is carried out on the wheel pathways of

MHE. DM survey method have no relavance to the areas

of the floor under the racking.

Other Services

1. Convert older floors (FM 2) to define movement (DM1) classificaon.

2. Grinding over curled concrete slab joint.

Levels & flatness can change at the edges or corners of the floor panels as a result of

curling process. Usually, curling of concrete slab can happen up to 2 years aer

construcon. Hence, grinding the best soluon to flush the edge of two slabs.

Correcve Grinding

Installaon of Wire Guidance System (wire installaon only) per recommended in TR34 4th edion secon 11.11.

1. Installaon of groove cut per approved layout.2. Installaon of wire in the groove per approved methodology. 3. Sealing of groove with approved sealant. 4. Installaon of transponders (Core cung & sealing)

Concrete Planners’ knowledgeable and experienced guidance leads you every step of the way and

offers soluons to any problem which may occur during the course of construcon and ensures

Preconstrucon PlanningAn integral component of the Floor Slab project.

Construcon PracceEach floor has a different construcon method and joint layout which should be planned beforehand.

Joints & DetailingJoints are dependent on the use of the floor and

its construcon method. They are provided to

subdue tensile stresses and breaks.

Post ConstruconAer compleon of construcon, sampling and

compliance tesng reports comprising of quality

control, surface regularity, operang and

maintenance manuals etc should be completed.
