CELEBRATING THE MOON FESTIVAL

STUDENT GET HANDS-ON WITH CULTURAL STUDIES

From traditional food carving designs to actual making of moon-cakes: the flour all over the student uniforms proved just how hands-on their celebration of the Vietnamese Moon festival was this year. The moon festival is also referred to as the Mid-Autumn Festival and celebrates the harvest season with a special focus on entertainment for children.

Students had a chance to not only experience traditional mooncake making but also listen to traditional music on the Đàn bau monochord instrument which is central to Vietnamese music, see what fantastic designs could be carved from fruit, and even had time for some fun with balloon animals.

The students had a wonderfully full day of activities and a special thanks goes to all the Elementary school parents who came out to help and lend an extra hand for these great activities!

GOOGLE SUMMIT IN EDUCATION- 2ND YEAR AT CONCORDIA

For the second year running, Concordia Hanoi played host to over 80 attendees from all over Hanoi, Vietnam and the South Asia region for the Gogoel Summit in Education. Concordia Hanoi was once again highlighted by Google for the model use of Google drive throughout the organization. Concordia also leads as an example of what a cloud-based school is capable of and has inspired other schools in the region to move in this direction.

CONCORDIA HS VOLLEYBALL IS A HIT!

Concordia High School Volleyball is in its best year yet! The Co-Ed team has not only flexed their athletic skills at regular season games but also had a great run at a Hanoi Schools tournament that saw the team compete against other schools from around the city.

Good luck on the rest of the season and GO CONCORDIA!
