Classical CausewayHOW TO PLAY
• Place a token for each player on the "1750" square at the start.• Players take turns to roll the die, move forward, read the text on the square where they land and follow the directions. (They can ask questions or look things up if unsure, there is no penalty.)• The winner is the first to reach the "1820" square at the end.
ASSEMBLYTo assemble this game:
• Print out the game board (pages 3-6). • Trim along the dotted lines.• Laminate if desired• Tape the board pieces together along the back.• You will also need a game token (eraser, button, small toy, etc.) for each player and a die (or two dice if you want the game to go more quickly).
LEARNING OBJECTIVEClassical Causeway is an exploration of the history and charac-teristics of the Classical period. Through the game, students will get a basic understanding of this era and get curiosity op-portunities to explore further.
