JOINT COMMUNIQUÉ. OCTOBER 18, 2012 Hurdal, Norway, October 18, 2012. Following is the text of the communiqué read this Thursday by the Cuban representative, Abel García, in Norway: 1. Assembled in Oslo, Norway, the spokespersons of the Government of Colombia and the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia, Ejército del Pueblo (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia – Popular Army) - FARC - EP, have agreed on the public installation of the dialogue table in charge of developing the general agreement for ending the conflict and building a stable and long lasting peace. Thus, the second phase is formally started. 2. Comprehensive agricultural development is the first topic on the agreed agenda and it will be addressed as of November 15 at Havana, Cuba. 3. The parties will designate the spokespersons who will meet on November 5 at Havana to continue with the necessary preparatory tasks. 4. We thank the hospitality of this process’ guarantor countries, Norway and Cuba, and the generous support of the accompanying countries, Venezuela and Chile.

Hurdal, Norway, October 18, 2012. Following is the text of the communiqué read this

1. Assembled in Oslo, Norway, the spokespersons of the Government of Colombia and
