What is Computer Virus?

Computer Viruses are small software programs that are designed to spread from one computer to another and to interfere with computer operation.

Why programmers create computer viruses?• For creating and spreading malware. • To attack the products of specific companies or

organization. • To distribute political messages.• To financial gain from identity theft. • They consider their creations to be works of art• They see virus writing as a creative hobby.

• By attachments in e-mail messages• By instant messaging messages.• As attachments of funny images, greeting

cards, or audio and video files. • By downloads on the Internet. • By download any illicit software or other files.
