What is Computer Networks?The collection of computing devices that are connected in order to communicate and share resources is known as computer networks.Connections between computer devices can be physical (using cables or wires) or wireless (using infrared signals or radio waves).

Types of Network Topology :There are multiple types of network topology.

● BUS TOPOLOGY - In bus topology, nodes are connected to a single communication line that carries messages in both directions.

● STAR TOPOLOGY - Star topology centers around one node (hub) to which all others are connected and through which all messages are sent.

● RING TOPOLOGY - Ring topology connects all the nodes in a closed loop on which messages travel in one direction. This topology forms a ring, where the first one is connected to the last one.

Types of Network Topology

●MESH TOPOLOGY - Mesh topology forms a point-to-point connection among all the devices where each connection carries its own data load. This topology is difficult to install.

●TREE TOPOLOGY - Tree topology is a collection of nodes where all the devices are connected to a root node. Tree topology is an extension of star topology and bus topology.
