Pam Avila Founder, Sierra Summit Group

Pam Avila, founder of Sierra Summit Group, has a strong background in sales and marketing management with some of the most significant companies in both the telecom and data industries. Her business experience includes building and managing successful sales organizations, as well as founding and managing a highly successful systems integration business.

Pam’s channel expertise comes from both managing channel sales organizations and mentoring a nationwide group of “convergence” VARs and telecom dealers (CT Pioneers), for which she received industry-wide recognition. As the founder of SSG, Pam is credited with developing the channel strategy that has taken one IP telephony manufacturer from virtually unknown to being in the top 5 in marketshare. Her international list of clients includes many of the industry’s vendor leaders as well as channel partners.

In addition to managing the Sierra Summit Group, Pam is the Channel Expert on the UCStrategies team of industry analysts and is currently serving as the chairperson for CompTIA’s UC community. Sean Burke Founder, Channel Stars

With a history in computer science and economics Sean Burke started his first consulting company in 1989 at the age of 15 called Computer Customizing of San Diego supporting the financial services industry.

While attending University at UCSB in Economics and Accounting, Sean worked at Coopers and Lybrand as an associate in Public Accounting and founded computer customizing of Santa Barbara in 1995 which later became Linklite for commercial business sales (sold in 2000) and Govplace.

Gus Yusem Managed Print Services Manager, Xerox

Gus Yusem, managed print services manager at Xerox, is a 17-year veteran of the printing and imaging industry, during which time he held managerial positions in product development, manufacturing, operations, and service.

Gus led the team that conceived, developed and implemented Xerox’s PagePack program in North America in 2006. Based in Wilsonville, Oregon, Gus is currently responsible for back office operations, pricing management, technical support, and product development. He oversees the development of policies, procedures, and business strategic initiatives.

At present Gus is focused in developing the ever-expanding services associated with PagePack. Gus holds an EMBA and graduate engineering degrees.
