Joint inspection held on 16.05.09. During JI, approved pinion for checking of the area under question was not available at DMW. JI was conducted with not approved pinion and material was rejected. But this is a case of rectification. Now, DMW has approved a gauge to check the tapper area which was earlier not available. Fresh two lots have been accepted by DMW.

Joint inspection held on 30.06.09. During JI, 12 samples of nuts from two packages are selected as samples. Face sq. is found more than specified as 0.0015" ( 40 micron) . There was no drag marks observed on the two nuts through which not go gague was passed. The case was recommended for rectification during joint inspection.
