INTRODUCTION
Handrails to ramps must comply to currentbuilding regulations.The Lockinex system complies and providesa robust, economical & practical solution.The simplicity of the readily available componentsmake the installation quick and permanent.Detailed drawings are not required, as the flexibilityof the products ensures that any modifications oralterations can be made on site easily.
APPLICATION
Since the design & promotion of this productinstallations have taken place in many areas in the public domain, such as, Railway Stations,Service walkways, Museums, Service rampsto many types of buildings, Surgerys, Churches,Care Homes, Hospitals.
COMPOSITION, MANUFACTURE
Manufactured in mild steel, all components are as a standard hotdipped galvanised for years of servicelife.A powder coated finish can be applied toall components or just the handrails.This serves as a “Warm to the touch”surface on the handrails and gives sclearly defined handrail to hold onto.
DESIGN
A fabricated/welded handrail would require site surveys,detailed drawings, a first fix to ensure everything fits.A return to site for the final fix.
With the Lockinex Ramp Handrail system, componentscan be ordered and delivered direct to site for easyinstallation. If a few more components are required thesecan be shipped immediately, with no delay in the completionof the works.
The design complies with current UKbuilding regulations.
