Collection is the fi rst step of a complete

decentralized system. Low Pressure Wastewater

Collection is a proven and innovative technology

that installs quickly, works uphill as well as downhill

easily, and reduces investment costs.

Every home or business in the development has a buried lift

station that collects wastewater. When the contents reach

a determined level, a switch activates a grinder pump that

converts the tank contents into a slurry. This slurry is then

pumped to the treatment phase using a small-diameter pipe.

Unlike conventional gravity-fed sewer systems, there are

no large concrete pipes to bury or worries about elevation.

Instead, all wastewater is pumped through small-diameter

plastic pipes that are buried in narrow trenches or with

horizontal drilling equipment.

The system is water tight to avoid the problems of storm

water infi ltration relating to EPA regulations making it ideal

for use in areas with high

water tables.

Self-contained Delta Whitewater, EcoPod

and BioPod systems receive wastewater from

individual homes or businesses and process

it through a submerged fi xed fi lm process

to purify the wastewater by the oxidation

of organic waste using naturally occurring

bacteria. In this oxygen-rich environment, a

colony of bacteria, called a biomass, develops

and is capable of digesting biodegradable

waste into carbon dioxide and water. The

result is a clear and odor-free effl uent.

Pod Series Advanced Wastewater Treatment Systems

use proven technology to convert wastewater into clear,

odor-free effl uent. The systems are advanced wastewater

treatment units for use where conventional septic systems

are inadequate. The BIOPOD is a specially designed

containment unit that houses an engineered plastic

media specifi cally designed to treat domestic

wastewater. The treated effl uent is discharged

as clear, odorless effl uent, which meets or

exceeds state water quality requirements. All

units are simply designed, self-contained, and

easy to maintain.

Delta Environmental Products has two versions of the

Pod Series. BIOPOD models are sized to treat between 1,500

and 100,000 gallons per day and are ideal for commercial

applications such as schools, subdivisions, fast food

restaurants, apartment complexes and commercial buildings.

ECOPOD models are sized to treat between 500 and 1,500

gallons per day and are ideal for individual residential

installations and small-to-medium commercial applications.

Delta Environmental Products Drip technology

completes the wastewater system through a

controlled process of pumping effl uent into

a multi-zone network of fi eld emitter tubing.

Clear effl uent from System Two treatment is

stored, fi ltered and pumped to specifi ed zones

at determined dose times.

The Drip Series uses a pro-

grammable logic controller

to automate all functions.

Zone selection, dosing times,

and counters provide the

utmost in drip technology.

Flow aspects of the Drip technology include a

Delta high-head submersible turbine pump,

100-micron fi lter assembly, multi-zone valve or

electric solenoid valves, drip emitter tubing,

pressure regulators, and vacuum release valves

to prevent air locks or siphoning.
