Greetings Internal Affairs:

I would like to make a complaint against the two Crawford County Sheriff's Deputies that wereworking the door on May 14, 2015 at the Crawford County Judicial Center. I had previouslycalled Police Chief Mindy Hulvey and informed her I was coming to Pittsburg from Colorado fora couple days to interview alleged white collar criminals. When I entered the judicial center at602 N. Locust you can imagine my disbelief when I and a colleague came Into the judicial center ,with a camera and "1 SAW MY MUGSHOT BY ITSELFWITH NO ONE ELSE'SMUGSHOT" sothat the Crawford County Sheriff's Department and the Crawford County Judicial Center couldpublicly humiliate me! I wanted to film the lobby of the courthouse because I knew that I couldnot go into the court room unless the judge gave an ok. However. the public lobby is opengame to be filmed and that is what we were there to do.

Once J saw the uMUGSHOT OF MYSELF" I instantly became upset and demanded that they takethat picture down which they didlll However, I was already embarrassed and publicly ,humiliated since they put my uMUGSHOr up for all the people who came into the judicialcenter to "laugh at me"!!!!! I called Crawford County Sheriffs Department to talk to the sheriffDan Peak which I did. He informed me that the reason the picture was up was because "MindyHulvey" said Noah Day wanted to film the courthouse and they were putting up your picture sothey would know it was you so that clerk of the court Pam Hicks could give a tour of thecourthouse to.

Well. why then did 1not ever get a tour of the court house and instead was threatened andcoerced into being forced to leave the courthouse or my collegague who was holding the camerawould be arrested?

We then went to the Courthouse in Girard Kansasand the Crawford County Sheriff's deputy thatwas doing security in Girard uLET ME AND MY COLLEAGUE IN WITH A CAMERA JUST LIKE602 N. LOCUST WOULD NOT ALLOW'!!!!!

How can this be??Can you please show me the supreme court rule. statute. local court rule. orcity code that says that you can enter Girard Courthouse with a camera but not CrawfordCounty Judicial Center?

I then went to Pittsburg Police Department to try to talk to Chief Hulvey about this but she wasnot in. I spoke with officer Nargas and he said "well it does look like they put the mugshot up tobe funny"!!!!

What????? The fact that a Pittsburg police sgt, would even think that they did this to be funny is"INAPPROPRIATE" and should be an official reprimand. I didn't know that Crawford CountySheriff s Department were being paid to make jokes and attempt to be comedians on workinghours. I thought they were there for security and to make sure that no one brings any weaponsinto the building.

Pleaseinvestigate into who made the "ORDER" to have "MY MUGSHOr up at the courthouseand at what time was this "ORDER" given and for how long was the "MUGHSOT OF MYSELF"suppose to be up at the court house on display for the citizens of Crawford County to laugh at.Please reprimand these officers to avoid any more "TOM FOOLERY OR INAPPROPRIATEACTIVITY BY THESE OFFICERS" while on the job site because frankly there not very funny.

I also will be sending this complaint on to "TOPEKA" under a opens record request under"KORA" to see the job duties of Crawford County Sheriffs Deputy under your own "JOBDESCRIPTION HANDBOOK" to seewhere humiliating people in a public building by hangingthere "MUGSHOTS" in public view is acceptable.

With the recent police murders that have gone on across the country, I now feel that my life isendanger by Crawford County Sheriff Department.
