COMPETITOR INFORMATION NPC JOHN SIMMONS BODYBUILDING CHAMPIONSHIPS MAY 14TH, 2016 - HAZEL PARK, MI HOW TO ENTER The competitor entry fee is $125 for each athlete an additional fee of $50 for each additional class, and there are two ways to pay: • If you enter online, the entry fee must be paid via credit card, debit card, or PayPal upon submission. • If you mail in the entry form, the entry fee must be included and the only accepted method of payment is a money order made payable to “Tigre Inc.” • All entry fees are non-refundable. • Late entry fee of $75 will be applied to all entries received after May 1st (including walk-up entries on May 13th). • If you decide to add a class after submitting your form, please email [email protected]. You can also add a class at check-in (cash only). • Walk up entries are accepted on the day of the contest. Just show up at 8:45am for check-in prepared to pay the entry fee, late fee, and purchase your 2015 NPC membership (or show proof if you have membership). DEFINITION OF DIVISIONS • OPEN: Eligible for all competitors of any age or experience, • TRUE NOVICE: If an athlete has never competed an an NPC event they are eligible • NOVICE: If an athlete has never placed first in any class or age group in any NPC sanctioned contest then he/she is eligible to compete as a “novice.” • TEEN: The competitor must be between 16 years and 19 years old. • MASTERS: The competitor must be at least the minimum age of the division on the day of the contest. Crossovers. You may compete in multiple classes (if eligible). This can be any combination of open, novice, masters, or teen (if eligible). Don’t miss this opportunity for real stage-experience! POSING & AWARDSEVERY COMPETITOR will be introduced on stage & pose at the finals.• All bodybuilders & women’s physique competitors will perform a 45 second posing routine.• All figure, bikini, & men’s physique competitors will hit front, side, and back poses at center stage.• All fitness competitors will perform a 90 second routine.The top five athletes in each class from all divisions will be awarded trophies.
TICKETSAll spectators must purchase a ticket to enter. No free tickets are provided to competitors for trainers, friends, family, or otherwise.
BACKSTAGE/TRAINER PASSESBackstage passes go on sale the morning of the contest. The fee is $40 and you must also have a ticket to get in the door.• The backstage pass is valid all day, but it does not replace a ticket to either pre-judging or finals.• We have a limited number of backstage passes for this event and they are sold on a first come, first serve basis.
TANNINGECLYPSE TANNING is the official spray tan provider for this contest. You can contact them directly for the perfect contest tan. They provide spray tans prior to the event and touch-ups before you go on stage. Get more info at www.eclypsetanning.com
