TENSOR Beta Wins High End ‘Superspeaker’-Competition

The much renowned German trade magazin stereoplay came up with a rare experiment as a special feature for their 30. birthday: A comparative test of 5 “super-speakers” at which not the professional journalists but, for once, the visiting audience should form the jury. So, at the annual High End in Munich, considered by some “to be the definitive source of audiophiles inspiration“, the five combatants met the challenge.The five “super-speakers”, chosen by stereoplay’s editorial staff, were: KEF Reference 207/2, B&W N801D, Klipsch P39F, Cabasse Karissima, and ADAM Audio’s TENSOR Beta.

The Beta had been put to the internal stereoplay acid test just a few months earlier: “The amazing neutrality comes along with a drive and a spontaneity which to call ‘sensational’ would almost be an understatement.“Now it was the High End audience to decide about the quality of the five speakers and nominte one winner.700 visitors have put the speakers through their paces - with a clear result: Ahead by more percent versus the second than the seccond versus the last, ADAM Audio’s TENSOR Beta impressingly and repeatedly proved to be the best amongst the best!
