Magazine Competitors

NME

• One of my competitors would be NME; this is

because alike to my magazine they hold a wide

variety of music. Meaning that their audience

would be attracted to my magazine. To compete

against them, I would make sure to have up to

date, relevant music and new to the audience

rather than a repeated article.

‘Q’

• Another one of my competitors would be ‘Q’

magazine. This is because they also cover ‘rock

and roll’ music which my magazine will withhold,

so I will need to make sure to include new and old

rock bands to attract a larger audience.

Billboard

• Billboard would also be one of my competitors as

they cover most music genres and include a wide

range of fashion advice and favourite fashion in

their magazines. To make sure to compete against

these, I need to make my information new and

original and not include the same sort of fashion

tips or music.
