Mission
“The mission of school nursing at Enterprise City Schools is to provide excellence in nursing care to the student population through a continuing education program focused on improving practice through sound nursing judgment and cognition.”
How do Nurses Accomplish the
Mission?To accomplish the mission, educational programs are offered under the direction of the Federal Programs Director and the Supervisor of Nurses. The educational programs serve the purpose of increasing nurse knowledge, skills and research. Programs will also be offered to serve the needs of the community and the parents.
Goals
“The goal of continuing education is to promote personal and professional growth of the nurses to ensure the delivery of quality health care to the students of the Enterprise City School System.”

education Administer medications Promote health and wellness Health care screenings Immunization monitoring Provide first aide and emergency care Provide health care instruction Disaster planning Serve as community health liaison
What is Quality Medical Care?
Professional assessments and treatments to address
the individual needs of each student with respect to
dignity and confidentiality.
Administration of Medications
Enterprise School Nurses adhere to the regulations and guidelines of the Alabama Board of Nursing
and the Alabama State Department of Education. In
addition, each nurse is responsible for implementing the
6 rights of medication administration.
