Compaq Presario C795TU drivers for Windows XP

NB: I haven`t tried these drivers personally, please post if you find any errors…

Download the drivers for Compaq Presario C795TU Laptop for Windows XP operating System

please follow these steps.

I. Get the following drivers and install in the given order only.

01. SM bus Controller – infinst_autol.exe (2.3MB)

02. WinXPSP2 Enhancements – sp28668_Enh4WinXPSP2.exe (3.3MB)

03. VGA/Display – winxp_14331_VGAGL960.exe

04. UAA Driver for HD Audio – sp32646_UAA4HDAudio.exe

05. Audio/Sound – download C795 audio driver (3MB) see the installation guide attached

06. Modem – SP36089.exe (6MB) see the installation guide attached

07. Wireless – download WIFI driver(6MB), sp34510_HP Wireless Assistant.exe (3.2MB)

08. Webcam – sp35414_HP 1.3MP Webcam Software Drivers.exe (5MB)

09. Dotnetfx2.0 – dotnetfx_2.0.exe (22MB)

10. Touchpad – sp35444_Synaptics Touchpad.exe (14MB)

11. Card Reader – sp33604.exe Ricoh 5-in-1 Card Reader (2.1MB)

12. Quick launch – sp38171_HP Quick Launch Buttons.exe (14MB)

13. Battery – sp32299_HP Battery Check.exe (3MB)

II. Manual Installation Help for (05. Audio/Sound)

0. Download the corresponding file and unzip.

1. Click START

2. Click RUN

3. Type “devmgmt.msc” in the prompt and click “OK”

4. In other devices>> right click Audio Device on ……..

5. Click “update driver”

6. Select “No, not this time” and Click “Next”

7. Select “Install from a list or specific location(Advanced)” and Click “Next”

8. Select “Don`t search. I will choose” and Click “Next”

9. From the list scroll down and select “Sound, video and game controller” and Click next

10. Click “Have Disk..”

11. Click “Browse” and choose this folder

12. Select the “/XP32/WiSVHe5″ file and Click “Open”

13. Click “OK”

14. Click “Next”

15. A menu appears saying “Installing …. Do you want to continue?” Click “YES”

16. Click “Continue Anyway”

To install Modem Device on High definition Audio Bus

1. Click START

2. Click RUN

3. Type “devmgmt.msc” in the prompt and click “OK”

4. In other devices >> Right click “Modem Device on ……..”

5. Click “update driver”

6. Select “No, not this time” and Click “Next”

7. Select “Install from a list or specific loccation(Advanced)” and Click “Next”

8. Select “Don`t search. I will choose” and Click “Next”

9. From the list sroll down and select “Modems” and Click next

10. Click “Have Disk..”

11. Click “Browse” and choose this folder

12. Select the “C:\swsetup\sp36089 folder and select the .inf ( *.inf )” file and Click “Open”

13. Click “OK”

14. Click “Next”

15. Click “Finish”

i have installed the above drivers for my compaq 795tu. but, web cam and audio drivers are not

working for me. if i run the web cam, the image / video is too blurry(totally dotted images). the audio

driver (conexant) is working only for modem but not for the onboard sound. please help me.

it just downloaded for 44% later it stucked.

Go to intel web site. ur notebook have express 965 chipset. when u go to intel download centre.

select chipset. from there select laptop chipset and from there slect 965 express chipset. when u

click it u will get graphic as well as some more drivers

Hi, gr8 service ya, Thank u very much for providing us the xp drivers for c795tu.

But some additional informations should be added to this list.

Integrated mic will not function with the drivers for xp and u should go for a external mic while using

xp.

And , now a days c795tu notebooks are coming with Alps touchpad , Plz add Alps touch pad driver to

your list.

Another suggestion, c795tu laptop comes with any one of the 3 types of wireless listed below. You

should try these three types

one by one until it works.

Intel Pro Wireless Driver:

disabled when the headset is plugged in. Do let me know in case you got the fix. I am using Win

Hello,

So I have managed to get everything working with XP on my laptop. Only problem is that I cant my

machine connected to an overhead projector.

When the system is booting up I can see the display on the projector but as soon as XP begins to load,

the projector can no longer communicate!!

I think I need different display drivers than the one above.. Help anyone?

download has either been moved, renamed or archived.”

04. UAA Driver for HD Audio – sp32646_UAA4HDAudio.exe – Getting the message “The page

cannot be found”.
