OUR EXPERIENCE I FINANCIAL SECTOR

Standard Chartered Bank is one of the oldest international banks in

the banking sector of Bangladesh. With exclusive presence in all six cities SCB has offshore

banking units inside Dhaka and Chittagong Export Processing Zones. Throughout its

duration of service in Bangladesh SCB hasalways concentrated on providing excellent

service to its customer by continuously streamlining its services and making banking simple

and easy. With increasing requirements for better and more efficient services SCB was on

the lookout for how to improve their service delivery. Thus ZANALA Systems provided the

solution SCB needed by setting up MULTIMEDIA KIOSKs, INTERNET KIOSKs or CHEQUE

DEPOSIT MACHINEs ensured a hassle free smooth experience for its customers.

With the MULTIMEDIA KIOSK installed at all branches of SCB managing the large queues of

customers has never been easier. The kiosk has a thermal printer that provides a slip with a

serial number to the customers based on their query taken by the touch screen and

interactive application. Customers are directed to specific counters based on the serial

number. 5 Multimedia kiosks are being used to manage queues of customers and providing

quality banking services in large branches.

The INTERNET KIOSKS enabled the customers to avail online banking services from the

ATMs. The internet kiosks are equipped with stylish metal keyboards, touchpad and 24/7

high speed internet connection that ensures ease of use and smooth banking on the go. So

far ZANALA Systems have delivered 30 Internet Kiosks around the Dhaka city, Chittagong

and Sylhet as well.

Considering the large queues and long processing times of cheques, ZANALA Systems setup

a CHEQUE DEPOSIT KIOSK that receives cheque and keeps it safe. It has got a high capacity

scanner and printer that provides the depositor a printed impression of the cheque and

preserves data for further processing. Currently, 30 Cheque Deposit kiosks have already

been installed and daily thousands of cheques are deposited and processed through these

kiosks. The long processing times and large queues at the counters have been eliminated.

BRAC Bank- one of the renowned banks of the country provides the facilities of Cash Deposit

Machines that assists its customers making deposit 24/7 from the ATM booths. ZANALA

Systems has developed and successfully implemented Cash Deposit Machines (CDM) that

ensures secure and easy transaction. BRAC Bank customers can make General Deposits,

Credit Card deposits, Utility Bills and Tuition Fees through the Cash Deposit Machines.

The stylish and robust design of the ZANALA Systems CASH DEPOSIT MACHINEs has made

the difference by providing user friendly interface and errorless functionality. This machine

ensures safe, secure and easy transaction. The CDM can detect any hardware malfunction

and notify the authorities through blinking at customized dashboard that enables proper

management, fast troubleshoot and elimination of botheration. Already 10 Cash Deposit

Machines have been installed that taking deposits round the clock and assisting clients in

making transactions with a few clicks.

The Bank has installed Cash Deposit Machines at the ATM Booths where customers can

deposit cash without any manual intervention. Considering the increasing need and benefits

of Cash Deposit Machines and excellent performance of CDMs of ZANALA Systems, The City

Bank Ltd also introduced CDMs made by ZANALA Systems. These machines are conveniently

designed and customized according to the brand guidelines of City Bank.

The exclusively designed CASH DEPOSIT MACHINEs are developed on the basis of our prior

experience and extensive research on customer needs and user experience. 10 Cash Deposit

Machines have been installed so far. Now, a client doesn’t need to fill deposit slips and stand

in long queues at the cash counter. The Cash Deposit Machines provided to City Bank is a PCI

DSS compliant machine. This machine from ZANALA Systems has ensured secured data

transfers and fast transactions.

Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited is a renown commercial bank of the country with banking

policies based on Islamic Shari’ah. Islami Bank has managed to erect the largest branch

network within the private banking sector with a total of 294 branches all over the country.

To manage such a huge banking network and keep a huge client base satisfied with digital

banking facilities, Islamic Bank has implemented the Cash Deposit Machines by ZANALA

Systems that enables deposits and payments in cash. Like all other CDMs, all successful

transactions are immediately credited and customers are issued an advice slip confirming

the transaction.

As an OEM (Original equipment Manufacturer) ZANALA Systems has designed the CASH

DEPOSIT MACHINE for Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd with a user friend interactive application

to manage the cash deposit process. Like all other CDMs of ZANALA Systems this device has

also got a stylish design and robust structure. The unique design and custom made

application ensures great user experience, safe and speedy transaction. ZANALA Systems, as

an OEM has already delivered 25 CDMs.

Prime Bank Securities Limited (PBSL) is one of the leading Stock Dealer and Stock Brokering

houses of Dhaka. It is a subsidiary of Prime Bank Limited. The house is registered as

members of Dhaka Stock Exchange Ltd. (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange Ltd. (CSE and

thus provides full range of professional stock brokerage services. Individual investors as well

as Institutions seek the services of the PBSL. One of the major services of PBSL is that it

caters to non-resident Bangladeshis.

This stock brokering house caters to hundreds of traders and investors every day. Thus a

huge number of documents are processed daily. To cater the needs of the traders and

investors they wanted to establish an in-house printing facility that would avail the traders

and investors with required documents instantaneously. ZANALA Systems set up a PRINT

KIOSK to avail them with this capacity. The print kiosk contains a printer within its structure

that prints out documents for traders instantly. Thus it reduced hassles for the traders to

A highly competitive market and strict laws often make it difficult for a pharmaceutical

company to promote their products and position their brand to the doctors. But Sanofi

Aventis a renowned pharmaceutical brand made a strategic move. They introduced Multi

Media kiosks at different events & expositions and Internet Kiosks at hospitals & health care

institutions.

SANOFI installed the ZANALA Systems MULTIMEDIA KIOSKS installed at different events and

expositions to grab the attention of target audiences as well as portray the products in the

most attractive and efficient manner. ZANALA Systems has provided an interactive

application that enabled a smooth display of product features.

SANOFI placed the INTERNET KIOSKs in Hospitals and Health Care Institutions enabling

doctors to visit paid websites free of cost for a specific time. The internet kiosk is equipped

with high speed internet connectivity and stylish metal keyboard and track pad that ensure

easy internet browsing. Doctors can browse these websites and get latest information on

health care issues. Subscription to these websites is expensive but browsing has been made

free for the doctors. Doctors are using the internet kiosk at their leisure time. Interactive

software was developed for this particular kiosk of SANOFI by ZANALA Systems that makes

the kiosk more efficient that includes product showcase in regular interval at the time of

website browsing.

The Apollo Hospitals Dhaka has a long range of services delivered through their various

sections to the incoming patience every day. The large number of patients and staff are

critical to manage, especially when it comes to setting up appointments with doctors things

often get very complicated. Apollo Hospitals Dhaka has extended their quality of service

through the use of MULTIMEDIA KIOSKs. The kiosk has been used as an information

terminal regarding the availability of Doctors and description of all the services offered by

the hospital.

The MULTIMEDIA KIOSKS at Apollo hospitals assists the information seeking patients or

attendees of the patients through an interactive application that exhibits exact information

through the query placed via the touch screen user interface of the kiosk. Each kiosk has

been manufactured to ensure 24/7 nonstop functionality. The application developed by

ZANALA Systems ensures great user experience and international standard information

delivery.

OUR EXPERIENCE I FURNITURE SECTOR

HATIL – a renowned wooden furniture manufacturer and retailer of the country has taken

the advantage of Multimedia Kiosks as a strategic move in displaying large wooden products

even in a tiny showroom. It is always difficult to display large furniture in a showroom due to

limited space and larger showrooms costs too much. A multimedia kiosk in this case solved

the problem by portraying hundreds of products through a single terminal placed at a

corner.

The MULTIMEDIA KIOSK provided by ZANALA Systems delivers detailed view of Hatil’s

products. The visitors are enabled to easily go through a large variety of products with only a

touch. Thus by setting up a simple kiosk HATIL managed to save large display spaces at their

showrooms.

Akhter Furnishers is one of the industry leading furniture manufacturer of Bangladesh. Their

showrooms are spread nation-wide. However, a major challenge for the Akhter Furnishers

was to display their products for customers without cluttering the showrooms. It was

becoming quite a concern for them due to huge expenses of showroom space. Thus, Akhter

Furnishers sought out to ZANALA Systems for a scheme to exhibit their products at

showrooms without large spaces and reduce clutter.

Given the efficiency of the multimedia kiosks to present products and services Akhter

Furnishers Limited employed multimedia kiosks at their showrooms. This addition reduced

the challenges of space shortage to display large number of furniture at showrooms. The

multimedia kiosks at Akhter Furnishers improved the way they displayed their product. The

touch display of the kiosks ensured customer ease and a hassle free experience each time

customers visited the showrooms.

OUR EXPERIENCE I EXHIBITIONS

The Digital Public Innovation Fair is an exhibition to bring forward the innovations to the

citizens. The DIF is an attempt by Access to Information, Prime Minister’s Office to provide

extensive citizen services to the people of Bangladesh. With the objective to raise awareness

about the e-services the government organized this fair to deliver citizens the experience

the advantages of the electronically transformed services.

The Digital Innovation Fair procured the services of the ZANALA Systems to ensure a one-

stop access to fair information. A multi-media kiosk was set up at the fair for the guests. The

multimedia kiosk was used as an information terminal for the fair visitors. The honorable

prime minister of the Government of Bangladesh launched the fair through this multimedia

kiosk.

The AAMRA Networks Limited initiated an event for exhibition of business to business

products and services. Recognizing the special needs of business entities event provided a

platform for businesses to meet with make more efficient decisions. The objective of the

event was to enable businesses with adequate information to generate more efficient and

faster business decisions.

As a first time initiative the AAMRA Networks wanted to collect feedback from visitors.

ZANALA Systems provided the solution to collect feedback and suggestions from visitors via

a simple process. ZANALA Systems established a multimedia kiosk at the fair exit. The

multimedia kiosk enabled the visitors to provide suggestions and opinions about the fair.

EkusheBoi-Mela is one of the biggest and most anticipated annual event Dhaka. This book

fair exhibits newly published books. Publishers and writers target this event to bring out new

books and publication. Held at Bangla Academy premises the event lasts a month long. It

showcases hundreds of stalls that exhibit thousands of books. Everyday thousands visitors

attend the exhibition to get newly published books and everyday more and more books are

launched.

Such a huge arrangement requires a centrally controlled information system to assist the fair

visitors with adequate information to the get around the exhibition. Access to Information,

Prime Minister’s Office implemented ZANALA System’s MULTIMEDIA KIOSKS to deliver this

information to the exhibition visitors through an easy and simple process. The multi-media

kiosk provides information about locations of stalls of publication houses, provides

information about newly published books as well as older books. The information database

is also maintained by ZANALA Systems to update information regularly.

The campaign was on raising awareness on safety at workplace for

young workers and it was run in all the divisional headquarters of the country. The

multimedia Kiosk has been used at the activations to communicate with the target

audiences. A customize application ensured great user experience and disseminated

the information regarding workplace safety. The kiosks have successfully grabbed

attention and the ease of use ensured proper communication. The Multimedia Kiosk

achieved a huge success in transmitting digital contents through interactive

application.

BanglaNews24.com is one of the leading online news portals of Bangladesh. This online

news delivery service wanted to avail their facilities to the mass people. With the objective

to give the general people with or without internet connections an experience of

BanglaNews24’s services it decided to set up booths with computers and internet

connections to avail passing by people access to the news from BanglaNews24.com.

As pilot initiative ZANALA Systems set up MULTIMEDIA KIOSKS at Bashundhara City. The

kiosk was located at a central position under the main atrium. The BanglaNew24 kiosk was

capacitated with high speed internet connection. Thus it enabled the users with instant

access to the news portal of BanglaNews24.com. Visitors could browse through the website

and access to all the pages and links by BanglaNews24 through the kiosk.

A Multimedia kiosk has been deployed at NIIT premises at Rajshahi to provide the graduates

easy access to the biggest online job portal of Bangladesh, BDJOBS.com. The kiosk equipped

with interactive and user-friendly application. The kiosk provided updated information by

syncing the database at regular intervals.
