EXECUTIVE SUMMARY SHIMAU INVESTMENTS cc was formed in 2004 by Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Shimau Investments cc Mr. Kallie Thomas Shipanga, to address the needs, for bringing together business angels in multinational approach with diverse range of services and products it offers to clients which the company structure are in divisions as strategic business units with innovative business set- up. SHIMAU INVESTMENTS cc is duly registered Company with the Ministry of Industrialisation, Trade and SME Development. The Company is in the business of Property Development, Distribution, Retail, Manufacturing, Construction, Leasing, Selling, Valuating, Structural Maintenance and Manufacturing etc. the owner is a formerly disadvantage Namibian, and uses its creative and innovative smart ideas and alliances to be resourceful.

2. THE COMPANY SHIMAU INVESTMENTS cc is led by Founder and Managing Director Mr. Kallie Thomas Shipanga, who has over 11 years of hands on experience and Innovative diverse business industry. The core business focus is in civil construction and property development within key and developing markets, being proud of our achievements, we will continue to further enhance our commitment and capabilities in the various merged industries, mentioned above, with integrity and strive for business excellence. Company registration cc /2004/1789, we also have certificate of registration as an SME and also registered with Social Security Commission as an employer with a VAT registration number.

The Company currently employs over 4 permanent staff at its office and an additional 6 temporary employees on its projects nationwide.

PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT With years of extensive experience in the field of commercial and residential planning and development SHIMAU INVESTMENTS cc is able to provide accurate and professional services to assist developers in the complicated process of planning, coordinating and ensuring a suitable return on investment is made.

7. DISTRIBUTION & RETAIL SHIMAU INVESTMENTS cc is a multi-channel concept, combining a wholesale distribution network with a retail strategy, e-commerce, and a consumer catalogue. The face of retailing is changing these changes are creating the potential for a new business model. The model will eliminate the need for a traditional brick and mortar retailer to open thousands of doors in order to reach the market, yet not eliminate the need for brick and mortar. At the same time it will eliminate the heavy ad spending that has been associated with e commerce by utilizing a brick and mortar retail presence to develop brand awareness which we are also involved in fast food and beverages.

8. MEAT RETAILIn 2008 SHIMAU INVESTMENT cc seized an opportunity to provide meat at an affordable price to member of the public. Selling in bulk, has allowed other small businesses to buy and resell as well. We are looking into expending into the fishing sector soon.

9. CONSTRUCTION DESIGN MANAGEMENT CO-ORDINATOR SERVICES SHIMAU INVESTMENTS cc is experienced in providing CDMC services on various projects. We are able to work with clients to services on various projects. We are able to work with clients to assist in identifying risks and reduction methods in design stages:

• Identify and insure legal compliance of client’s duties under the (CDMC) regulations.

• Develop pre tender packs. • Assess competency of principal contractors. • Assess competency of sub-contractors. • Assess construction phase plan for legal, health and safety

compliance. • Monitor changes in design in relations to health and safety risk and

ensure information is communicated to all stake holders.

10. MANUFACTURING: SHIMAU INVESTMENTS cc is also involved in manufacturing of various products, with strategic partners both locally and international, the business has consolidated its position in the local market as offering quality products.

11. AGRICULTURE:

FARMING: The pressure on the environment and the growing concern about food scarcity and food security, particularly since the onset of the global economic downturn, are issues that affects us all.

The claim to “a passionate belief that everyone has the right to clean, quality food”. By which we means low or no residue foodstuff, appears to drive our entire business strategy. We have a (“6-year”) track record working in the crop protection, consumer products, crop protection products and the public health pesticides industry Shimau Investments CC believes in the precautionary principle. “That means we need quality, organic or no residue, food and growers need the quality resources to achieve that”.

12. TRANSPORT:

• The evident economic growth in Namibia over the last 2 decades has increased demand for all transport services, particularly land transport via road and rail. Vehicle ownership has increased, with the number of private motor cars growing by 16%, and good’s vehicle by 13% per year from 1991 to 2010.

• In the 1990s, as economy expanded by 6-7% a year, transport demand grew by about 10% yearly. The rate of growth, however, varied by subsector, as well as the effect of some supply side factors with Namibia is currently not fully flesh industrial economy and will remained to use transportation to reach all four corners of the country by using road and rail transportation.

PC peripherals market in Namibia is witnessing a dynamic growth and is exhibiting prominent signs of further development in the years to come. SHIMAU INVESTMENTS cc is also supplying and installing computer hardware and software and provides technical advice and support to corporate clients, due to its demand in 2011 and is expecting to grow by 2015. The presence of major PC adopting industry verticals and increasing replacement of obsolete hardware is primarily boosting the market and has attracted SHIMAU INVESTMENTS cc to be proactive in this market.

14. ENGINEERING SHIMAU INVESTMENTS cc has a highly qualified technical team to manage the requirements and performance of design and sub-contractors including any specialized services.
