ICEPIPE’s Omni LED bulb series is awarded Winner of the Red Dot Award:
Product Design. Its award, the Red Dot, is one of the three most popular design
awards, along with IDEA and iF, and internationally recognized for quality seal
it prizes for high design quality. Only the best products receive the Red Dot.
The international jury awarded this sought-after seal of quality to Omni LED bulb
series as it sets itself apart significantly from comparable projects thanks to the
excellent design.
Omni LED bulb series has unique design for cover, which reminds of a door
knob from its approximately spherical shape. Compared to standard LED bulbs’
rather incompetent hemispherical shape, the Omni LED bulb series’ spherical
shape cover with twice larger light emitting surface area diffuses light twice bet-
ter. From such features, Omni LED bulb series benefits glare reduction and 270’
omnidirectional beam angle for wider reach of light, which gives extra conve-
nience to users. Also, the door knob like design allows safer handling by the
cover, which gets heated to less degree, and eliminates danger of burn.
Omni LED bulb series’ innovative attempt to increase heat dissipation capabil-
ity is in the cylindrical air passage that runs through central axis of the product.
The passage connects vents from the top to the bottom to employ natural air
convection phenomenon, and gains enough cooling for enclosed luminaires.
With the effective cooling structure, it overcame bulky mass of cooling appa-
ratus, which brought weight reduction of the product and a special endurance
against external shocks.
ICEPIPE’s CR2000 LED lamp won Best New Product Award at
the 2013 Electronic & IT Industry Fair.
On October 7th, 2013, ICEPIPE’s CR2000 series was awarded Best New Prod-
uct at the 2013 KES Innovation Awards alongside with Samsung’s Curved OLED
TV, under the administration of Korea Electronic Association.
ICEPIPE’s products already have been designated as the New Excellent Prod-
uct (NEP) by Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy, and registered as Ko-
rea’s Public Procurement Service’s priority purchase product.
Therefore, The above award again acknowledged the high value and competi-
tiveness of ICEPIPE. The CR2000 series has 10 times longer lifespan compared
to conventional lamps and save $229 electricity cost annually (American Stan-
dard, 10.47cm/kWh; 24hrs/365days). Heat dissipating system which equipped
on CR2000 is only 25% weight and 120%performance of the conventional alu-
minum one. Also, it is easy to install with its 39/40 screw base socket with the
weight of under 1.7kg.

03 “ICEPIPE LED Lighting” incorporated high efficiency heat sink with a VTWM (Value of Thermal resistance Weight Multiplier) of less than “1”. LED lighting’s lifespan and luminous efficacy depend on the LED chip’s operating temperature. Therefore, the heat sink that dissipates heat from the LED chips must be designed to have “Value of Thermal resistance Weight Multiplier” less than “1”.

VARIOUS BEAM ANGLES & GLARE PREVENTION The standard package of incidence angle for ICEPIPE’s high-output LED is 90˚. It is possible to form 15˚, 20˚, 30˚, 45˚ and 60˚ if installed with other lens options, and a wide angle of 134˚ with a dome diffuser. Besides being able to have the desired angle, glare can be prevented more effectively than the standard product if options and accessories as shown in the table below are installed together.
