QUALITY ASSURANCE

Quality Management Systems are an integral part of our business.Ourclientscanbeconfidentthat we are fully capable of project managing, fabricating, machining and painting pro-ducts to their most stringent demandsandspecifications.Mechanical Inspectors, Fabri-

cationInspectorsandqualifiedQuality Engineers support the Quality Assurance System and ensure compliance with custo-mer contractual requirements through the implementationof approved quality plans and adherence to European and American Standards.Weld procedures are quali-fiedbysupportingProcedureQualificationRecordsandthecompany Metallurgist ensures that welders’ approvals are in accordancewithEN287,EN288andtheappropriatestressrelieving requirements.

QUALITY CONTROL AND INSPECTION:

NONSTOP WORKSHOP

Gometegui’s Llodio facility is an Integrated Manu-facturing Plant.This means that our company is capable of carr-ying out all the manufacturing processes (welding, handling,inspectionandqualitycontrol,finishes,etc.)requiredtodeliverthecompletelyfinishedpartor equipment to our customers in accordance with specificationsandagreeddeliverydeadlines.

As can be seen in our Installations and Capacities section, Gometegui has all the technical means re-quired to undertake the manufacture of very large and heavy equipment and parts, and the equip-ment and know how to perform than most complex and delicate processes.

And for those exceptional cases in which the speci-ficationsexceedourin-housecapabilities,Gomete-gui has the support of the entire industrial fabric of theBasqueCountry,anareawithalongindustrialtraditioncomparabletotheRuhrbasin,theSilesiaregion or northern Italy.

GOMETEGUI’s main facility is located in Laudio-Llodio, only 30 km from the port and airportofBilbao,theeconomic,culturalandindustrialcapitaloftheBasqueCountry.
