Geo Search which is duly registered in Afghanistan Investments Support Agency (AISA) under the license number D26974- was established to provide wide range of Survey and Geotechnical Services throughout Afghanistan. We offer our professional and specialized services in domains of residential, commercial, industrial and public work projects. Our professional background has so far benefited all of our clients through sensitivity to project needs, responsiveness to the project timing and creative solution which are the worldwide criteria for any projects.

The survey and geotechnical information that Geo Search provides is necessary to design and construct the foundations, pavements, and other geotechnical and survey related items contained and determined by appropriate field survey and laboratory investigations and supporting calculations in different projects.

clients with a comprehensive range geotechnical engineering consulting services. This department is registered and certified

with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Afghanistan District) to provide engineering consultancy services. GGD is also an

ISO Certified by GMSQR (ISO 17025 Quality Management Systems Standard).

GEOPHYSICAL INVESTIGATIONGround Resistivity survey methods have been widely used in order to solve engineering, archeology, environmental and geological problems in the last decades.

Ground water constitutes the most reliable and perhaps the largest source of fresh water in most parts of the world and electrical resistivity method of geophysical techniques happens to be the most preferred geophysical method in groundwater potential. With this method of we able to determine the depth of aquifer layers, thickness of ground layers, extend of layers and to estimate the depth of the well according to the aquifer. This letter confirms the Certification for the Geo Search Lab to 31 December, 2015 at the following location: Kabul, Afghanistan.

This laboratory should be considered as certified for use by the Transatlantic Afghanistan District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers(USACE), for the material tests as listed in enclosure 1. This certification will be included with records that are maintained at the TAA Headquarters in Kabul, Afghanistan. This certification is contingent upon the continued employment of Mohammad Reza Ahmadi as Lab Manager and Mohammad Hussain Ahmadi as Geotechnical Engineer. Without the oversight of these gentlemen, this certification will expire. If the laboratory relocates to a new location, this certification will expire. This certification is also contingent upon, at a minimum, the annual calibration of equipment by a third party.

The inspection and certification process followed by the Transatlantic Afghanistan District adheres to procedures outlined by theMaterials Testing Center (MTC), which is located at the Geotechnical and Structures Laboratory (GSL), U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) in Vicksburg, Mississippi, USA. The MTC is the USACE-authorized agency for certifying laboratories for use in quality control testing for USACE construction projects. To facilitate construction in Afghanistan, the Transatlantic Afghanistan District has authorized the Quality Assurance Manager to conduct laboratory certifications with adherence to MTC protocol.
