Since 1949, Medical Coaches has manufactured and delivered more than 20,000 custom-designed special -purpose mobile coaches for our partners and customers in over 110 countries across the nation and the world. On the left is the very first multiple-mobile-medical-unit order of its kind. Delivered in 1949 to the Government of Cuba.

This mobile health coach was one of the most sophisti-cated and expensive ever built. Lockheed Aircraft under contract with NASA, Houston, came to Medical Coaches for this high-level project. Their purpose was to simulate remote diagnosis of medical problems that could occur on board the Space Shuttle. Physicians linked by microwave signals could converse with onboard nurses and view patients and lab samples through cameras and camera microscopes.

American Science and Engineering (AS&E) worked joint-ly with Medical Coaches to develop their revolu-tionary MobileSearch Unit. This one-of -a -kind de-signed unit can provide rapid x-ray scans of cars, trucks, trailers and containers to detect bombs, explo-sives, ammunition, weapons, drugs, contraband and illegal aliens. Many units are currently in service around the world.

On the right is a mobile recording studio designed in conjunction with Effanel Music Inc. This company, founded in 1980, is based in Manhattan and is one of the world’s leading live music, remote and mobile recording specialists. Effanel has recorded live perfor-mances from The Grammys, Madonna, James Tay-lor, The Dave Matthews Band, Santana, U2, The Buena Vista Social Club and countless others. The mobile recording studio allows for great flexibility.

Medical Coaches delivered to the Boeing Company and Sikorsky Aircraft, a custom-built Comanche Flight Test Trailer. This trailer will help pilots learn to use the advanced flight instrumentation and equipment on the new Attack Comanche Helicopter before actu-ally flying a mission. Using a trailer adds tremendously to custom flexibility allowing operation at multiple sites. Pilots are shuttled up and down in an air conditioned retractable 8 foot control room pod, located in the rear of the trailer.

This high-definition television trailer, with 47 foot expandable walls, was built for Trio Video, based out of Chicago, Illinois. The company was founded in 1982 and serves WGN’s local and nationwide cover-age of the Chicago Cubs and White Sox and a majori-ty of the NFL football games on FOX. This particular trailer was recently at the 73rd Annual Sugar Bowl in New Orleans. The telecast reached out to millions of fans nationwide and joined an audience of nearly 80,000 people in the Louisiana Superdome.

This interior shot is a view of a mobile linear accelerator trailer called the Pulsar™ system. It is a one-of-a-kind mobile unit that was built for AccSys Technology, a privately held company based out of Pleasanton, California (now owned by Hitachi, Ltd.), to produce positron emitting isotopes and tracers, par-ticularly for the fluorine-18 used to produce FDG. The mobile unit gives companies the ability to perform highly specialized cancer screening that require isotopes with an extremely short half life.

Fully self-contained mobile medical waste processing system that can process all forms of infectious medi-cal waste. Hoppers of waste (sharps, parts gauzes, etc.) are loaded into the massive shredder, combined with a special chemical and reduced in volume to at least 80 percent of its original size. Most waste is turned into confetti. After the waste is broken down, it is safe for disposal into a regular dumpster at nor-mal waste sites. Each shredder can process up to 2,000 lbs. per hour.

Medical Coaches is proud to say that we were the first manufacturer in the world to build a mobile PET (Positron Emission Tomography) and mobile PET/CT (Computed Tomography) trailer. To date we have delivered over a hundred coaches throughout the United States. Medical Coaches is certified by all major manufacturers (Siemens, GE, Philips) to install their highly sophisticated equipment.

In 1984 we formed a partnership with one of the world’s premier companies, Siemens Medical Solutions. Created to develop Siemens MRI trailers, this relationship has led to more than 300 mobile MRI deliveries in the U.S. and Europe. Our master cabinet-maker builds our cabinets with both European flair and quality. Latches and hinges are all highest-quality stainless steel, not plastic. All cabinets have solid back panels, not open like most competitors, ensuring strength, rigidity, and long life.

Medical Coaches will be represented at the 2008 Sum-mer Olympics with this sophisticated High-Definition Television (HDTV) Trailer for the Guandong Television Company in the Guandong Province of China. They are the fourth largest TV station in the country and em-ploy roughly, 2000 people. The HDTV trailer will cover soccer events at the Olympics and it will also be used for the 2009 East Asian Games in Hong Kong.

Mobile X-Ray Clinic Built for the Royal Palace in Morocco to help serve the king and some dignitaries in the Country of Morocco and the capital of Rabat. This unit was built on a Ford F550 chassis and has full x-ray suite on-board. Also in the rear of the self-propelled unit is a control room area. The x-ray suite is fully leaded for proper protection.

Multiple Mobile Blood Donation Clinics delivered to the Saudi Ministry of Health. Six and Three chair clinics served people throughout the Kingdom providing basic blood needs and health screening. The units were built on a Winnebago chassis and outfitted with Medical Coaches cabinetry and design work.

The highly specialized 53’ mobile medical trailer is owned and operated by SEHA. Who manages 12 hos-pitals 2,644 licensed beds and more than 40 primary health clinics in the U.A.E. The sophisticated medical trailer was engineered at Medical Coaches with a full on board dental suite, blood laboratory, patient screening area, handicap bathroom, and complete x-ray facility.

Built for the US Dept. of Veterans Affairs for the Maine Department of Veterans Affairs in Augusta Maine USA. This multi room exam trailer traveled up and down the north eastern coast helping to perform basic health screening and mental examinations for the Veterans of the Military.

Medical Screening Trailer for Maine VA

Mobile Mortuary Clinics Built for the Abu Dhabi Police Department. Two custom-built mobile mortuary clinics were built in cooperation the Abu Dhabi police depart-ment. One was a 53 foot semi trailer with 70 mortuary racks on board, an office area with shower facilities, special lift system to load bodies and twin refrigeration units on each end of the trailer. The sec-ond unit was built on a MAN chassis and meant to car-ry 25 bodies in a refrigerated environment with a spe-cial lift system in the rear. They are to be used in times of emergency with multiple casualties.

One of five custom mobile clinics built for the Hou-ston Area Safety Council (HASC) in Pasadena, TX meant to train and screen employees in the Petrole-um industry. The units ranged from a 21 foot x-ray clinic, two-31’ towed audiometric and health screen-ing and Two 53’ semi-trailers with health screening and computer testing facilities.

One of Two high-end mobile mammography/bone densitometry clinics delivered to COVIA health care down in Pasadena Texas to serve women in the Hou-ston Texas area. Each unit had a custom interior created with and designed by a world famous interior designer. Each coach has a “Spa Like” atmosphere so that it is more than a hospital environment.

Built for the Brazilian Government to serve over 1000 plus miles of territory throughout the country of brazil. This unit has two mobile mammography suites on board , two restrooms, two dressing areas and a re-ception desk with waiting seats. It has saved the lives of countless women throughout the country with early detection.
