Claus Wisser

It all began in 1965 with a bucket and mop, when one-man firm Claus Wisser

cleaned the offices of his first customers.

The beginning of a unique history …

Over 45 years later, the former one-man firm has developed into a company with

customers throughout Europe, three business units and tens of thousands of

employees.

The symbol of our origins

Claus Wisser put an advert in the paper asking if anyone had a typewriter to give

to a student.

He needed it for writing proposals and invoices.

You will see this symbol at company headquarters today, and every branch office

also contains a replica of it. It is there to remind us of the values at the core of the

company’s success. It stands for the soul of WISAG.

The creative idea at the beginning was to make something out of nothing.
