LeyboldOptics:CHANGING NAME; CONTINUING WITH

TRADITIONS, GROWING GLOBALLY

Being part of one of the world’s leading process technology companies, always gives companies a boost in growth and developments. Even more so if the same group has ‘coverage’ in over 140 countries. And this is what Leybold Optics is continuing to do; after becoming part of Bühler Group in 2012, Leybold has now carried out a name-change to further strengthen and continue this integration.

OPERATING UNDER THE UMBRELLA OF BÜHLER GROUPLeybold Optics GmbH has been legal-ly operating as Bühler Alzenau GmbH since 1 January 2015. The company, which has been a business area of the Bühler Group since May 2012, is thus concluding its successful integra-tion into the Swiss Group in a manner that is visible externally, too. The Alzenau-based spe-cialist for vacuum coating technologies has be-nefited in many ways from the incorporation into the multinational Bühler Group. This has allowed significant business growth in the current fiscal year and a record number of or-ders received in 2014 in market segments such as Optics, Automotive, Web and Glass.
