    Assembl ing a teamWe soon realized that our individual qualities werent enough for us to succeed. Communication,

    interpersonal collaboration was also necessary. Our goal was to focus all individual efforts towards the

    well-being of the team. We realized that each one of us had remarkable abilities in certain areas of work.

    Dawn of a new ideaOur vision about the Wise Organizer began around 7 months ago, along with our first brainstorming

    activity. As we all tried to focus our attention on a new and innovative product we discovered that some of

    us were in a big hurry and most of us had a dozen things on our mind, but

    we couldnt manage to finish them because we were unorganized. After

    that, we saw that our teacher was in the same situation. Then we knew that

    something must be done. Being at a computer high school and realizing that

    the computer is a part of our daily life, we concluded that we must use our

    programming skills, in order to help each one of us. This is the beginning ofthe Wise Organizer. But we aspire to be different, to be one step ahead, and

    we had to think of a new distribution method. As the mp3-player

    transformed into the iPod, so the new data storage device became the

    memory stick, the flash pen. Smaller space occupied, cool design, more

    flexible, bigger data storage, the Memory-Stick was what we choose to

    carry our product.

    Implementing the software

    When it came to implementing the program, it was easier said

    than done. Fortunately, we could rely on our Production

    Director, Andrei-Bogdan Antonescu . I started the program

    from scratch using only freeware software and

    development tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio C#.

    With months of hard work what was at the beginning anidea started to become an application as we dreamed of.

    The entire source totalized around 20 thousands lines of

    code but in the end it worth it as it became The Wise

    Organizer. Wise Organizer is something never done

    before: it contains in the same program a phone agenda,

    personal agenda for writing your daily activities and very

    complex media player where you can see your pictures,

    listen to music or watch a movieall it the same place .

    Ive assured my colleagues that success would only be a matter of perseverence and hard work.

    Creating the Wise Organiser was one of the most challenging tasks I had ever faced.

    Market researchHowever, the final product came into shape only after a research study made on 150 people, the

    majority of them teachers, but also employees from different companies. The survey was conducted by all

    company members. It was essential that we gathered information from all sorts of people. Because of the

    fact that nowadays computers are so wide spread, each individual user becomes a possible customer.

    After research concluded that the majority of the interviewed persons desire a multifunctional product

    with an attractive design . The results were exactly what we expected. Many of the interviewees were in

    full agreement with us.

    Distribution

    We are using several ways to sell our product which

    include: from our website, you can buy the software online

    and pay by Google checkout, from our headquarters you canget The Wise Organizer memory stick or you can order it by

    email and we will send it by postal courier. The product is

    also available on online markets such as www.okazi.ro.Our

    product is available to everybody corresponding to their

    needs.

    Secur ing our I nvestment

    The field of IT applications is an area that faces a major problem of our time - piracy. It is noted the

    increase in the number of persons holding or publicizing counterfeited materials.

    In order to sell many products and to obtain profit there is a desperate need of a safety system that

    prevents some individuals to copy our products or to distribute counterfeit copies of it. When purchasing

    a product, the customer will receive a unique code which will allow the installing of only the program

    recorded with the same number. Code corresponds to a unique physical Stick or a CD with a single

    program. Thus, users will not share licenses among themselves or give

    to others.

    We want the program to be installed only one computer. During

    installation, the customer will be asked to enter the personal code. Byusing the code, the program will block the auto run kit and the

    installation one so that it cannot be installed on any other computer.

    Of course, these methods do not guarantee 100% success, but are

    an important step in controlling all attempts of piracy.

    Marketing strategies

    Our main promoting strategy relies on a small price (14.99/memory stick; 9.99/softwareonline/ or

    software + CD) but with big production and sales rate.

    We wanted to increase the popularity of the product on the Internet, on specialized sites

    (www.toptenreviews.com) or by the distribution to certain key persons from different companies or

    educational institutions. On the other hand, the attraction of clients by each of our companys members

    was also encouraged.

    Subscribing on Enterprise Without Borders site ensured a growth of sales from foreign countries.

    We established partnerships with companies outside our country assuring a gateway to foreign markets.

    Because of the English language integrated display, the commercialization in foreign countries did not

    represent a problem.

    Because today the Internet has spread in almost all the world it is imperative for any company to

    focus on this advertising segment. Publicity on the Internet its cheap and efficient. Publishing positivefeedbacks on specialized sites, publishing banners, and video commercials are several ways of internet

    promotion. We are aware that each internet user is a potential buyer.

    Therefore, we decided to launch a website (www.wiseenterprise.net) and we have uploaded more

    resources. Our site has now two official languages: Romanian, English and we are planning to add even

    more in order to expand our market share in Europe. Moreover, our video and audio commercials are on

    the site, as well as a tutorial, explaining every feature of the program.

    However, we didnt forget to hand out flyers and to print posters. During the past few months this

    methods have proven to be very effective, because thus we can promote our product to people who are

    not interested in surfing the web.Good communication skills are also required, so thats why we kept in touch with our past or future

    customers through e-mail and through our site, with the feedback section.

    Sales

    In the matter of sales we have been very productive. Weve managed to sell 99 applications, 25 ofwhich were with stick included, 25 of them were online and 39 were on CD. As expected, sales have

    increased after launching our marketing campaign. As the online market is growing, IT sector also

    having an important impact in the economy we expect a stable growth of our product sales.

    Social responsibil i tyAlthough every company's main propose is profit, we must not neglect the issue of business

    ethics. Therefore, we should seriously consider our role of company that invests in education.

    Our company regards in our social responsible policy education, charity and social protection. Social

    responsibility policy proves to be important both in terms of minimum standards of product

    development, so as not to harm employees and consumers, and in terms of mentality and attitude of

    others to our products, and also to our work in general. Firstly our social responsibility activities will

    focus on maintaining and enhancing product quality so that it is not harmful or pollute. Secondly, we will

    distributive along with our product (on the memory stick or on the CD) the official forms for donating

    2% from the employees taxes to UNICEF Romania, Red Cross Romania, Greenpeace Romania and other

    charity organizations.

    As foreseen, our company will have a significant impact on the Romanian educational system. Our

    product will significantly improve the way teachers organize their lessons (providing them a modern

    electronic media as in most European countries) and also the way they will assess pupils (the possibilityof tracking the student's performance over time). Also, we support these projects through our website,

    with direct links to all our beneficiaries and an account number where donations can be given in order to

    support our common cause.

    We hope that by extending the scope of work in all areas of Romania we will contribute over time in

    developing a modern and efficient system of education and we will give Romanian children equal

    opportunities of education.

    National Trade FairEarly successBetween 7th and 8th of May we have faced our biggest

    challenge to that time. This was also a great way to sell our

    product. During the business fair we sold around 10 products

    and made a lottery for our Wise Organizer T-shirt, this was

    very well received by the public. In the competition we

    challenged other 20 companies for the first prize and won.

    After seven months of preparation, it was time to see the

    extent to which our business idea thrived.

    Visit to successful companiesAs the finalists and winners of Romania's Company of the year 2010, a visit to two very

    successful companies was granted, Accenture and

    General Electric were our hosts, and we learned a lot

    from them. The experience was breath taking, the

    importance of each department, the need to take care

    of your employees and to motivate everyone and also

    the ability to see what your company may become in

    ten years were some of the things we had to keep inmind for the future. Also we put in practice some of

    our marketing strategy, being able to make a good

    promotion of our product. We can proudly declare

    that the Wise Organizer is now used by the CEO of

    General Electric Romania.

    F inancial analysis

    Releasing sharesDue to the fact that an initial investment required the sum of approximately 250 , we have decided to

    release 90 shares at the values of 3. This initial investment will cover the 225 required to buy the memory

    sticks, plus other expenses (salary expenses and marketing expenses). Since starting selling, we reinvested

    L iquidation ReportAt the end of our first semester of activity we have decided to award each shareholder a

    dividend of 33 %, as promised at the beginning of our activity. Having in total 90 shares and the price

    of a share being 3 , it equivalents to 346 paid back to the shareholders. However, 75 of all shares

    are the property of our company members. So the 1049,16346 = 703,16 remainingwe are going to

    reinvest in our company. Lets notice that it is more than enough to continue to cover our future

    expenses.

    Turning weaknesses into strengthsThroughout our whole activity our main concern was to try to maximize our opportunities and to

    minimize our weaknesses. We were constantly evaluating every aspect of our company, always trying

    to improve the quality of our products. Therefore, we stood in touch with all clients, requesting

    feedback at a regular basis. Weve updated our site three to four times a week in order to assure that

    potential buyers are kept in touch with all the latest developments to our program. We have no doubt

    that our lack of reputation will be easily dismantled within the following two months, because although

    during recent weeks the number of people that bought the Wise Organizer has increased dramatically.

    Always seeking for improvementAmong the ones that tested our product was our schools

    principal, Mr. Ahmet Aki. Alongside congratulations and

    encouragements, he also gave us precious feedback about our program.

    Thus, he recommended we made our program in such a way that the

    information on an account could be updated from several different

    computers.

    Thus, his secretary could update his schedule from her own

    computer. He wouldnt have to spend extra time, receiving notifications,or phone calls. Everything would be in order, without him even arriving

    at the office.

    This determined us to try to create a new feature especially for

    large companies or businessmen who benefit every day from the help of secretaries.

    Future plans of the company- 5 year prospect

    Our company will be registered to ORDA (The Romanian USPTO), and OSIM in order to protect our

    business idea and product concept. Our ideas will be registered trademarks so any imitation of them will be

    against the law.

    As a part of the profit will be delivered to our research area, by this, we will have a continuously

    improvement of our product. We will choose more distribution channels, more online sales sites and other

    electronics shops. Gradually we will ensure a very good reputation, engaging more and more people in the

    time warping art.

    We had the opportunity to help people and we will continue to do so. Thus, we decided that the next

    appropriate step would be to continue taking the legal measures necessary for implementing a real-life

    company.

    Weve tasted success, competition, rewards, acknowledgements and we want to keep on going furtherand further. We are an ambitious crew, almost dedicated professionals and now only the sky is the limit.
