Interactive Insights (Dashboard Widgets)

• New dashboard widgets become available automatically for CompAnalyst users upon release• 4 Out-of-the-box widgets:

• Market Pricing Progress• Status update for market pricing

• Survey Effective Date• Oldest/Newest surveys in use

• State of the Organization• Audit of your company data

• CAMD Simple Search• Quick access to CompAnalyst Market

Data


Dashboard Widgets

• Users hover over and interact with Dashboard widgets to uncover additional data insights• To drill-in deeper into

widgets, select widget to access a full page data analysis


Configuring Dashboard

• Dashboard widgets can be configured using any combination of the available widget (20 total widgets with 2 basic sizes)• Administrators determine the

widgets that are accessible to users, as well as if their company users can alter their dashboard


Dashboard Settings (Administrator)

• Administrators can adjust dashboard settings by selecting Setup > Dashboard Settings

• Unselecting “Make Available” at left will hide a widget from a given user type

• Unselecting “Default on/off” will remove the widget from displaying automatically on login for those users

• Panel at right represents default dashboard; Administrator can drag and drop widgets to set a layout

• Selecting the “Allow user to edit dashboard” checkbox allows users to customize their dashboard


Configuring Dashboard (All Users)

• Users that have rights to configure their dashboard can do so by selecting the “edit”, then “add” button at the top right of their dashboard

• A movable flyout will appear at right, where users can checkoff the widgets they wish to use. Selecting will drop the widget into their dashboard area

• Users can drag and drop widgets to move their location on the dashboard

• Hold the cursor over the widget top banner to change the location OR select the X button to remove from view


Reporting & Analysis

• Users can access drill-in reports by selecting into an associated widget OR accessing them through the Reporting & Analysis module by selecting Reporting & Analysis > Standard Reports• Reports are organized into two tabs

• Task Analysis – Data Insights user should think about while maintaining projects in CompAnalyst

• Data Exploration- Analytics that organizations need to be aware of, but are not part of the day-to-day work


Reporting & Analysis (Detail)

• Users can hover over each report image to get a brief description of the report• Selecting report will open a full page

report, with drill-in capabilities• Reports are interactive. Users can

manage filters or select data points in visualizations to dig deeper into their compensation data


Export Data

• Users can export table data into a CSV file format from reports• Selecting one or more data point

will open up a tooltip with additional options• Select the “view data…” option to

see a tabled format of information shown on screen


Interactive Insights Permissions

• Users will only be able to see widgets based on the module access they have• User & Permissions restrictions will

carry over to any displayed widgets or reports


Export Data

• Users can see a “Summary” of their information or “Full data” view to see additional data points• Selecting the “Download all rows as a

text file” link downloads a CSV file
