So How Do We Let People Know What’s “In the Box”—in the Library ?
How does the library become a key community player?
![Page 4: Community Outreach at Your Library - Libraries Out of the Box - Joan VanSickle Sloan - February 2015](https://reader031.fdocuments.in/reader031/viewer/2022032012/55c37fcfbb61ebaf2d8b45c9/html5/thumbnails/4.jpg)

Determine: Target Audience (Users)-- for each resource/service/program?
Market plan--get information to users.
Participate Reciprocally with other community organizations: Serve on boards, attend community meetings & Chamber of Commerce events, keep current with community news & events. (Reciprocity)
