Fallon Family Day at Lake TahoeSaturday, August 11th

Spend the day enjoying the crystal clear waters of Lake Tahoe. Bring your suit and towel and Lincoln will provide the rest! Enjoy a delicious breakfast in the morning, before hitting the water. Kayaks and fun beach games will be available throughout the day. Each Family will receive a $25 gift card upon arrival at the lake to cover the cost of gas. Don’t miss out on this exciting day of family fun! This is a lottery event, please register if you are interested in attending.

Menu: Breakfast served from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM burritos with sausage, eggs, peppers, and potatoes with fresh fruit, orange juice, coffee, and water. Lunch served from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM BBQ hamburgers and hot dogs with all the trimmings, macaroni salad, assorted chips, and watermelon slices with cupcakes, cookies and brownies for dessert. Gluten free and vegetarian options available upon request.

You must enter the lottery and be a resident of Fallon Lincoln Military Housing on the page 2 to attend this event. Any additional guests (besides who you originally registered) will NOT be accommodated at this event. Please no pets. Families must check in at the district office on Friday to attend.

Follow the yellow brick road to Lincoln’s “There’s No Place Like Home” Community Expo! Bring the whole family, connect with your neighbors, community partners, and get any questions you may have answered by your community’s District Staff. There is no need to sign up for this event, just show up!

Expo Highlights Interactive booths with community resources, giveaways, and games. Free, light dinner for the first 60 residents. Door prize drawings! Kids, create your own wall art, featuring your home state.

For the fourth year in a row, Lincoln Military Housing is partnering with the Reno Air Race Association to bring you an exhilarating day at the Reno Air Races. Enjoy access to the exclusive Military Chalet as well as the pit and racetrack. Families will receive a $50 Gift Card at check-in to help cover the cost of gas and parking. Issue Resolution for ResidentsThe following steps should assist you with the resolution of an issue should something occur in your home that causes you dissatisfaction with Lincoln Military Housing:1. The first step is to contact your District Office and relay the issue to them and give them the opportunity to resolve it. 2. If the issue is not resolved to your satisfaction, contact the District Office again and ask to speak to the District Manager. In almost every case, the District Manager can solve the issue. 3. If the issue is still not solved after speaking to the District Manager, call the Lincoln General Management Office (GMO) at 858-874-8100, and ask to speak to the Regional Property Manager for your specific district. 4. In the unlikely event that the Regional Property Manager cannot satisfy your request, contact the GMO again and ask for the Regional Vice President of Lincoln Military Housing. 5. At this point, if the issue still remains, you will need to contact a Navy Supervisor at the Housing Office at Fallon by dialing 775-426-2809 to speak with a Housing Supervisor.

Marijuana Usage Not Allowed in HousingLincoln Military Housing complies with the federal Controlled

Substance Act (CSA) which prohibits the use, possession, and

distribution of illegal drugs. Even though the recreational use

of marijuana is permitted in the state of Nevada it is not allowed

anywhere in housing. Additionally, marijuana is not allowed even for

medical use. The federal CSA categorizes marijuana as a Schedule 1

substance, and therefore it is a violation of federal law to use, be in

possession of, grow, or distribute it anywhere on federal property,

which include housing areas.

Your new Clubhouse is finally here! At the Grand Opening event, on July 25th, residents of all ages toured the new building and learned about all the great features included in the building and surrounding area. Families visited the dog parks, skate and bike parks, basketball court, and splash pad for fun giveaways. If you missed out on the grand opening be sure to stop by the new builiding to say “Hi!” to your staff and pick up a goodie bag for your family.

You will need to have your Tenant ID number and your service member’s last name to log in. If you need your Tenant ID, please contact your District Office. The first time you log in, you will not see any events or profile information, as it takes approximately one hour to update your profile. Any changes needed to your account information must be updated by your District Office.

Perks Card ProgramThe Perks Card Program is designed to reward residents who regularly attend Lincoln’s wide variety of events. Residents are given a stamp on their card at each event they attend. Only six stamps are needed to fill the card. Turn in your filled card to any Community Services Coordinator or your District Office.
