CAC has been connecting the community since 1987. CAC connects compassionate members of the Sandy Springs and Dunwoody communities with their neighbors who need help. From congregation commitment to individual involvement, CAC brings together people from all walks of life for one purpose, to provide basic needs to our neighbors experiencing di�cult times, to prevent homelessness and hunger locally.

Community InvestmentCAC is a true public/private partnership supported by public and private grants, congregations, businesses, schools and individuals. CAC makes the most every dollar donated by utilizing volunteer

manpower for the majority of services with a small sta� and keeping overhead costs low.

VolunteerismThe community invests their manpower in CAC to help their neighbors in need. CAC is a volunteer-driven organization, relying on individual and group volunteers to operate all areas of

the center, special projects and events.

Connecting the Community

DonationsDonations of in-kind items directly help neighbors in need and support CAC. The community donates food, clothing and home goods.

In 2015 Mercedes-Benz USA donated a new Sprinter van to CAC to use for client services and other transportation needs.

CAC provides compassionate assistance to help our neighbors in need and gives families and individuals hope for a better future. CAC provides basic needs to those in crisis situations and to those on �xed incomes that need a little extra help. Referrals and education provide future stability. Seasonal programs ensure children have school supplies and holiday gifts that their families otherwise may not be able to provide.

Stabilizing a Crisis CAC provides basic needs to those experiencing an unexpected �nancial crisis caused by emergency situations such as �re or job loss. Financial assistance for rent or utilities, food and clothing keep families a�oat during their crisis,

preventing homelessness and hunger. Food helps seniors and others on �xed incomes make ends meet.

Hope for the FutureCAC o�ers free services to help individuals improve their situations for a better future. Referrals and recommenda-tions direct clients to longer term assistance if needed. Free adult education classes provide life and job skills.

Assistance with tax returns ensures �lers are on time and receive all credits and refunds due to them.
