Define Topics for the Think Tank and Conduct a Google+ Hangout
Once you have defined your current need, (i.e. Marketing, business advice, PR, volunteers, team
members) post your invitation to connect on your Google+ calendar. Create an Event to do a
Google+ Hangout think tank session.
Choose goals to work towards within a time frame using online video as a primary means of
communication with working teams no greater than eight people. If this figure is reached, create a
sub team. Within each community, there will be different types of circles which include:
Research and Development: to assess current levels of performance and to determine resources
and methods of achieving goals
Innovation Entrepreneurs: who take R&D to the next level and develop working models to reach
goals and priorities
Correspondents: who communicate within the network of teams inside as well as between
separate communities: Distribution, Education, Energy, Food & Water, Freedom, Health, Justice
Recorders: who highlight the Bright Spots and report processes and events in video, text and
pictures; showcase what is working well in your workplace and community
Crowd Fund Operators: who begin crowdfunding campaigns on behalf of a self-governing
community atwww.anideanation.com

An Idea Nation Global Think Tank Principles:
We see no separation between us; what you do affects me and vice versa.
We first share, borrow, trade and explore all resources available before
outsourcing for capital.
We foster businesses that are sustainable using co-operative models.
We are transparent, open and honest in our practices (accounting, books and
communication).
We are accountable to one another to uphold our values and global priorities
We believe in people before profits as we focus on the holistic wellness of our
members first.
We crowdsource and use crowdfunding for community and business needs.
We provide exceptional quality services as well as products that are made to
last.
Code of ethics:
If you have an issue with a member, go speak to that member first and try to
work out your differences before engaging a correspondent to work with you
towards a resolution.
Eliminate negative talk or unproductive chit-chat
Make sure to always source out a communitys needs from the broader global
communities prior to crowdfunding
Once teams vote and agree that they have exhausted all possible resources
within their community and others, and it is found that a need cannot be filled
by borrowing, sharing or gifting, use crowd funding.
Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world.
Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.Margaret Mead
