WELCOME

Welcome to the Automation Anywhere Community Edition. The purpose of this Guide is to help you install Community Edition components to get you started on your RPA and automation journey!

Getting Started

After signing up for Automation Anywhere Community Edition, you will receive an email to welcome you to the product and help you get started.

Scroll down the page until you find the Control Room URL link in the message, as well as your Username and Password. Clink on the link to launch the Control Room:

IMPORTANT: If you are an existing Automation Anywhere customer or partner and you are using a licensed version of the client, please do not replace it with the Community Edition.



The Control Room will launch. Fill in your Username and Password from the email that you received. Then click the “Log in” button to log in to the Control Room.



The Control Room Screen will appear.

Click the “Download Client” button. This will download a ZIP file.



Double-click the download ZIP file to extract its contents.



Then, navigate to the location of the client setup file, and double-click to run the setup program.



Once it installs, accept the license agreement and default plug-in settings.



Upon completion, unclick “Launch Community Edition,” and click “Finish.”

An Automation Anywhere icon “AA Community Edition” will appear on your desktop. Click on it to launch Automation Anywhere.

Click the “User Credentials” radio button and fill out the information that was sent to you in the original email.



Congratulations!

You are ready to build your first bot!
