Grants Allocation

Projected revenue for Cycle 4: $5 million 70% to 75% of the anticipated revenue in this cycle is “targeted” for planning in areas within the current UGB 25% to 30% of the anticipated revenue in this cycle is “targeted” for areas added to the UGB since 2009 and Urban ReservesThe grant amount may be reduced if actual revenues are not as high as projected

Step 1 – Letter of Intent (LOI)

Due date: April 16th Reviewed by the Screening Committee Reviewed by Metro staff Purpose: Provide feedback on proposed application(s) to maximize

competitiveness Components:

Cover sheet (project area -UGB or NUA/UR; project summary -50 words max.)

Narrative (4 page max.) – project description, address eligibility and evaluation criteria, collaborations, statement of approval, and project contact

Preliminary Budget documents Location and project maps

Metro response: week of April 30th (by email)

Due Date: June 1, 2015 (5:00 pm) Reviewed and evaluated by the Screening Committee Components:

Cover sheet (project area -UGB or NUA/UR; project summary -50 words max.)

Narrative (8 page max.) – All the information from the LOI plus, site description, background, and proposed milestones and deliverables

(July 2015) Metro COO will send her recommendations, along with the

Screening Committee recommendations , to the Metro Council Council Review – recommendation from Screening Committee

and COO (August 2015) Council – awards grants and funding levels (August 2015) IGAs with grantees – (Fall 2015)

Post grant award IGA will be negotiated, based on:
