Michigan Community Revitalization Program (MCRP)

• MCRP is a replacement program for the Brownfield Tax Credit and the State Historic Tax Credit Programs

• Program is targeted to Projects located in a Downtown or a Traditional Commercial Center

• MCRP is designed to fill financing gaps for projects that meet the following criteria: facility, functionally obsolete, blighted, historic resource, or continuous or adjacent to one of the above.

• MCRP provides the following types of support to projects: grants, other economic assistance, and direct loans, all of which are awarded based on performance.

Homeowner and Emergency Loan Program (HELP)

• Help intended to provide loan funds for rehabilitation and emergency repair of owner occupied, single family residential units

• Funds provided through local revolving loan administrators (RLFA’s) and units of local government (UGLG).
