Final Thesis at UPM Architecture School by Francisco García Moro. Feb. 2010. Supervised by prof. Concha Lapayese Luque. Proposal for a Multifunctional Community Center in the Macau historial district. The building was conceived as a natural extension of the old urban fabric, respecting the frame of historical, cultural and semiotic preexistences still present in the neighborhood. El edificio se sitúa en el solar de un antiguo fumadero de opio, conocido por Weng Fook Yuan o 'Patio de la Eterna Felicidad'. Este proyecto fue desarrollado gracias a la beca 'David del Val' y el inestimable apoyo del arquitecto macaense Adalberto Tenreiro.
