#1 Be Open to Communicate

When you are open to communicating you are much more approachable and people won’t fear having to talk to you about difficult items.

#2 Listen

This is key to understanding what the other person is trying to communicate to you. If you don’t understand what they’ve said, politely ask them to further explain.

#3 Be positive

The communication should be positive and avoid negative statements or questions.

#4 Solution Orientated

Think- how can I help? What solutions can I provide to help this person?

This will lead to not only a positive encounter but a productive one also.
