Discuss the main filter involve in this case?Mr. Basu did not read the price tag. He thought that the pullover price was Rs.950 and his wife told that there is 25% discount, so he decided to buy one more pullover.

When he received the cash memo he was astonished because the original price was Rs 1900 instead of Rs1424.Basu misunderstood the discount price. The original price is Rs.1266, on that 25%discount which was Rs 950.The total amount for two pullovers will be Rs.1900.By this he came to know the original price.

What should Mr. Basu have done to avoid the misunderstanding?Initially Mr.Basu has not seen the price tag of piece selected by him. He could have asked the counter person that whether it is discount price or original price and there should be interpersonal communication between counter person and Mr.Basu so that they can clear their doubts.

Who is blame for this communication gap? And why?We should blame the counterperson. When Basu asked for price the counter person just nodded his head, which leads to communication gap. We should blame his wife also because she has also misunderstood the price which leads to the commit the mistake by Mr. Basu.
