2. Operational Plan: How did you actually produce your product/service? Please explain clearly your production process. (10)

Initially when the business idea was proposed and students enrolled their names depending upon their interest.

Our Principal explained the School enterprise challenge using Power point presentation for 40 minutes.

We students chose our wing ( For example: Students interested in making jewelleries moved to art and craft club, Students interested in planning and preparing reports moved to English club, Math club members looked after accounts, eco club surveyed ,etc).

Team leaders were elected. Capital cost was collected.

Materials were purchased. For craft from waste Eco club students collected raw materials from school children as well as stationary wastes from office.

Under the guidance of 2 Art and craft teachers , art and craft students made a team work and created miracles.

Weekly meetings were conducted and we worked sincerely for 2 hours with this regard. Our shutterbugs did a photography session which was used for marketing. Logo was created(We entered Logo –mini competition too) A date was marked and we conducted the expo during parents teachers meet. Marketing wing students looked after accounts and were recording the prices. A Budding Entrepreneur was invited for the inauguration ceremony. Expo was conducted in a grandeur manner and we uploaded the photos immediately to

the Whatsapp ID. Net profit and Gross profit were calculated. Final report was prepared.

3. Marketing &Sales: Did you actually sell your product/service to the customers identified on your Market Research? If not, why? Who was your Target Market? (10)

Yes, Of course, We sold our products to our customers whom we mentioned in our market research. We chose the apt time, so we were able to meet our customers without any flaw. Our customers were mostly parents and nearby residents. Thus we stuck a poster to tell them. Parents who came for parents teachers meet were actually invited. They were eagerly looking up the products.

We downloaded the School enterprise challenge poster and we stuck it under our logo. Marketing team spreaded a word. Shutterbugs spoke through their visuals. An Inauguration ceremony was conducted. A young budding Entrepreneur Ms.Indu was invited and she motivated us through her inspiring speech.

Your answers to these questions will test your innovation and creativity in setting up your business. Don’t be afraid of writing about your problems or things that went wrong with your business. Recognising and

addressing problems are key skills for entrepreneurship.

Since we had a extensive planning session, wheels rolled smooth, but time and exams were running in between.

We worked an hour extra after our exams. That’s how we overcame out barrier.

a. Aspirations:Aspirations are defined as a young person’s ambitions and realistic goals of the future for themselves and their family/wider community.To be a smart outstanding entrepreneur

b. Knowledge Skills:Knowledge Skills are defined as the facts, information, and abilities acquired through experience or education.

We obtained knowledge about methodical way of doing a business. We understood students power, Fruit of Team work, Art of recycling, Toil. We learnt how to analyze in a proper way. We discovered our potential; also we learnt how to manage things. We learnt ‘How to fish’.

c. Attitudes: Attitudes are defined as a manner of thinking, feeling or behaving that reflects a state of mind or disposition; the way a person views something or tends to behave towards it.

We had a very positive attitude towards business and motto. We even donated our profit with old age home and orphanage.

The school got a very good recognition from parents. This idea goes with the school’s mission. Charity fund was shared .

We didn’t disturb the environment. We made a favour that we recycled papers and houses hold things. We have a clean and green campus.

10. Profit: How did you raise your start-up capital? What approaches did you take to maximize your profits? What would you do with your profits? (5)

We planned to obtain our start up capital as follows: 1/3rd from school fund,1/3rd from teacher’s fund and 1/3rd from student’s fund.

We didn’t compromise the quality. We maximised the variety of product. We will keep 1/3rd for our next year business, 1/3rd for new venture, 1/3rd we donated to

orphanage and old age home.

With this experience we will try have better plans.For the next academic year,planning session will be conducted in the month of January itself.
