In electronics, a common source amplifier is one of three basic single stage Field

effect transistor (FET) amplifier topologies, typically used as a voltage ortransconductance amplifier. In some applications the square law dependence of the

drain current depend upon the overdriven voltage introduces the excessive nonlinearity making to soften the device characteristics.

At low frequencies and using a simplified hybrid pi model, the following small
