The primary effects in short:
• Improved fuel economy (example follows)• A thorough internal cleaning of the engine,
particularly where the frictional surfaces are concerned.
• Modification of the frictional surfaces. The surface tension and wear will reduce.
• Reduction of the engines internal mechanical losses.
The secondary effects in short:
• An increase of the performance and dynamics• A decrease of the engine’s oil consumption. • Optimized compression• Reduction of emissions • Noise reduction• Extension of the engine’s life span.
Brief technology explanation:
Tribology is the science and engineering of interacting surfaces in relative motion. It includes the study and application of the principles of friction, lubrication and wear.
Tribology:
Due to the internal combustion process, combustion residue is build up on the frictional surfaces.
• Hydrocarbon molecules will cling to the nanoparticles.
• The lubricant will reconstruct itself.• 3- dimensional structures of oil molecules are built.
• This gives the lubricant its cleaning capabilities.• The oil adapts itself to the changed thermal
conditions.• The inevitable aging of the oil will be retarded.
Surfaces will modify and a thin elastic layer is formed.The elastic layer reduces wear on friction surfaces and….protect them against electrochemical corrosion.
The build-up of nano-tribological, elastic and flexible structures on frictional surfaces cause an effective protection against wear in combination with a consistent long-term operational cost reduction.

Financial aspects for this example: Conclusion:
The monthly consumption before and after the application were compared, in average fuel consumption in Ltr. per Tonne per driven km. Here we already see (in this example) a fuel cons. reduction of 29%
In before and after the application we saw the same fuel consumption over a similar distance, however after the usage of ENVIRO₂PRO the carried load was 40% higher. This all with a fuel consumption of 3.08km/Ltr.

However!!
ENVIRO₂PRO lasts on average 300.000kmor, in this case, 3 years.Meaning a fuel cost saving of 3 x U$ 7.500.000 = U$ 22.500.000 ! Net Saving per 3 years: 22.5 M – 1 M = $ 21.5 Million!!
Means a saving of U$ 22.900 per day for the whole fleet!!
This is apart from the other already mentioned benefits (difficult to estimate) like:
• less maintenance; • extended life- span; • reduced oil consumption;• improved engine dynamics and performance!

The average fuel consumption has been reduces by 3 mt/daily or 23 %. Bearing in mind the different fuel qualities there will be a fuel quality tolerance of 5 %. Which will then result in a saving of 18 %.
By an average costs for tons of heavy fuel of 350.00 € it will be savings of app. 200,000.00 Euro a year.

The use of this Nano-technology on the engine test stand showed that the performance parameters improved substantially .
+ an increase of the engine performance against the manufacturers data. + a reduction of the fuel consumption.
This results in an immidiate economical advantage for the user.
• The engine output increased with 2,2 kW
• At 1.240 rpm the torque value increased from 247 Nm to 530 Nm. (!)
• The fuel consumption reduced by 13,8%
If we relate the fuel consumption with the engine output, we see that the untreated engine reaches it‘s max. power output at 2.000 rpm.
After treatment the max. power output was reachedat 1.550 rpm. but with a 13,8% lower fuel consumption.
