Steel Seal™ and Professional Door

Our doors are made without rubber bellows, allowing us to create a shallow bowl shape, which means the door takes up less space and makes the machine easy to load and unload.

Removing rubber bellows which degrade and trap dirt and grime, ensures a more hygienic wash. All our professional washers have this long-lasting door solution. We call it Steel Seal™.

Active Drum™

Dirt RemovalThe unique drum shape and hole pattern in our washing machines provides deep cleaning and gentleness at the same time. We call it Active Drum™.

Hourglass-shaped removable lifters guide the washing to the gentler central area of the drum. Debris, such as dirt and gravel, is pushed to the larger holes at the edge of the drum. This is ideal when washing mops, for instance, which often contain a lot of sand and/or smaller stones.

Tough On Dirt and Gentle On Fabrics

1 The hourglass-shaped lifter guides the washing to the gentler central area of the drum. The holes here have a diameter of 2.2mm. This also balances the load better in the drum reducing wear and tear on drive belt and motor; saving service costs and prolonging lifetime of the entire machine.

2 Debris is removed via the larger holes (3.7mm) at the edges of the drum and lifter.

3 All lifters are removable for easy cleaning dirt such as mop or cloth residue.

Quattro Construction™

The outer drum rests on four strong shock absorbers firmly attached to the steel bottom plate. The entire construction is located inside the machine and spinning at high spin speed can be done virtually free of vibrations. The Quattro Construction™ system is extremely durable and prolongs lifetime of the entire machine.

Balanced Load Control

The ASKO balance control senses when the laundry is evenly or unevenly distributed inside the drum.

An even distribution will restrain the noise and mechanical stress level when the machine is spinning.

Usage Over Lifetime

ASKO washing machines are tested to 15,000 cycles. This is equivalent to the lifetime of two semi-professional washing

machines or six domestic washing machines. This keeps lifetime costs and environmental impact to a minimum.

Foam Control

Too much foam inside the washing machine can reduce its ability to wash as effectively. Our washing machines are fitted with sensors that detect foam levels and automatically begin

to remove the excess foam. By adding rinse water and draining consecutively the excess foam is removed until optimum levels are restored.

Water Safety

Inlet HoseAll ASKO washing machines are connected to the mains with a PEX hose and brass fittings. PEX is considered to be as safe as copper pipes; it can withstand 10 bar at 95ºC for 50 years.

Maximum inlet timeIf the correct water level is not achieved within a specified time the machine will automatically stop the programme, close the inlet valve and activate drain sequence.

WateroverfillprotectionIf the maximum expected level of water in the machine is exceeded, a high level sensor will automatically stop the programme, close the inlet valve and activate drain sequence.

28 Programme Flexibility

There are 28 different programmes to choose from, three of which are customisable. Programmes can be revealed or hidden to suit your particular working environment.

You can tailor washing programmes for your particular requirements by customising the settings, e.g. pre-wash, wash time, temperature, number of rinses, spin speed etc.

Disinfection Programme

ASKO washing machines come with specialised disinfection programmes which fulfil the strict standards of public health authorities. This is achieved by a high power output and a system that ensures the chosen temperature is reached and maintained in order to guarantee disinfection. Our disinfection programmes have an efficient pre-wash which ensures that all proteins found in the laundry are dissolved and removed before the temperature is raised in the main wash.

Microfibre Programme

A unique programme specially developed for microfibre fabrics such as microfibre cloths. The programme has three rinses with a high water level in the first rinse for an optimal wash performance.

Preset microfibre programmes are the following:

Programme FeaturesOur washing machines are designed to be as easy to use as possible - just select a programme and press start. The machine always remembers the last used function - just press Start to operate.

The LCD display informs you of the programme, temperature, spin speed and remaining time.

Our machines can communicate in 13 languages.

Asthma and Allergy

Our washers are recommended by both the Swedish and Norwegian Asthma and Allergy Associations and meet their stringent criteria for allergy approval. Our asthma and allergy approved washers have five unique programmes.

Mop Programme

Our specially developed mop programmes take the best possible care of cleaning mops. They have an efficient cold pre-wash to remove larger dirt and gravel before the main wash.

When combined with our unique Active Drum™ this gives an optimal cleaning performance. The hourglass shaped lifters guide debris such as gravel to the bigger evacuation holes in the lifter edges which effectively remove dirt from the machine. With two rinses using a high water level this programme cleans mops in the best possible way. Adjusting programme time and spin speed determines how much residual moisture is left in the mop.

Tumble DryersAll our professional tumble dryers have a robust easy to use LCD display with a jog dial for programme selection and a start/stop button. The display clearly shows the chosen programme and remaining time and the programme memory automatically

remembers the last run programme including any settings, which means that for the next load all you need to do is to press start. As one of the quietest professional tumble dryers on the market it will also fit into any environment.

Drying Methods

Non-StopButterflyDrying™

Rather than the usual “reversing” drying process, which means the dryer constantly changes direction, our dryers tumble the laundry in a figure of an eight. Gently, non-stop and in only one direction, without the clothes bundling. This saves wear on both the belt and the motor, providing greater durability.

Features

SensiDry™-NoMoreOverdrying

Once a drying programme is selected our unique Sensi Dry™ system determines the length of drying time required. Temperature sensors make the drying result more even and more reliable than a conventional sensor (which gauges electrical resistance). The programme automatically stops when the clothes are dry.

Brushless Motor

Robust brushless induction motor with one-way operation leads to longer lifetime, lower noise and faster drying.

Drying Systems

VentedVented tumble dryers remove moisture through a vent that can be fitted to an external wall or a hose.

Vented dryers are more economical to run than condenser dryers as they are not using energy to convert hot air to water.

CondenserCondenser tumble dryers remove moisture by moving hot air to a chamber where it is condensed into water and stored.

Condenser dryers can be plugged in and used straight away as they do not have an external vent. Condensing the water requires more energy than a vented dryer, thereby increasing running costs.

Safety and Peace Of Mind

For professional use, safety must be paramount. All machines are equipped with the following safety precautions to give you peace of mind:

■ Overheat protection that prevents clothing ignition. ■ The door can be opened from the inside. ■ If the door is opened during drying, the cycle must be

restarted. ■ Door lock stops cycle upon opening. ■ Temperature sensor holds exactly the selected temperature

Communication InterfaceThe integrated communication interface makes it easy for you to connect to external booking and auto dose systems as well as perform service diagnostics. The interface has an open protocol (MODBUS) that gives your partner possibility to adapt their systems to our appliance. The washing machine can be connected to an auto dose system with up to six different detergents and chemicals.

Fault codes and number of cycles are written continuously in a log file and it is easy for a service technician to read-out the information in it.

Relay CardThe relay card makes it possible for you to connect to an external auto dose systems. The relay card produces three signals, one for prewash, one for main wash and one for rinse.
