While Genesis emphasizes the great subject o lie in its beginnings! an" E#o"us

sanctuar&. %ere we are brought into the (er& presence o Go"! so that sanctiication to

Go" an" rom all e(il is the proper character o %is saints.

anctiication has two major aspects. First! sanctiication b& the one oering o Christ)%eb. 0: 0,! which is Go"$s wor- or us! putting the belie(er in a new position beore

    Go"1 the other! sanctiication b& the pirit o Go" ) Cor. 2: ,! which is Go"$s wor-

inwar"l& in the believer! causing him to be morall& set apart to Go". 3oth o these areimplie" in 'e(iticus.

4nl& on the basis o the sacriice o Christ are we pri(ilege" to enter Go"$s presence1

thereore 'e(iticus begins with the (arious aspects o the (alue o that one great sacriice.

5n all o this the holiness an" truth o Go" are speciall& prominent! just as in Genesis %is power an" majest& are "ispla&e"! an" in E#o"us %is righteousness an" grace.
