Kia orana tatou katoatoa
We will be holding a Community
Meeting on Wednesday 14th June 2017
at 6:00pm in Ko’anga o Kakera.
Feedback from last years meeting was
very positive, and everyone felt it was a
wonderful opportunity to hear from the
Principal and Board about where the
school is going, how we are doing, and
what next. It also provided the
opportunity for parents and community
members to ask questions of a general
nature, and also provide very positive
and encouraging feedback to the staff
and board on how the school is going.
A detailed agenda will be forthcoming
as soon as possible but I certainly want
to address the issue of teaching and
learning in the 21st Century and how it
may differ from what parents may be
used to, and our new school wide
behaviour management initiative called
Positive Behaviour For Learning
(PB4L) introduced earlier in the year.
I strongly encourage you to come along
if you possibly can. Light refreshments
will be provided.
