Each srring awards and honors are given to outstandingstudents in the college. Many of these were awarded atthe time of senior investiture. Several, however, areto be given this afternoon. One was deleayed because itis conferred on one of our returning alumni. Three otherswere not selected until the end of the school year.

This yearthe Awards Committee honors Mrs. Linda Jayne Hartwell.
One of the most prized awards at the Commencement seasonis the ALUMNI IDEALS AWARD. A committee of juniors, fac-ulty, and alumni select a student Who has distinguishedhimself in scholarship, religious activities, generalservice to the college, athletics, and leadership inextra-curricular activities. THE ALUMNI IDEALSAWARD is conferred this year on Robert Sharp.
